SYTYCD started today...I love it! I love the 'big girl', so is amazing, and some of the guys, wow, just wow.

I forgot to watch it. It's a great show. Is Mary Murphy a judge this season?

she wasn't on this week so it makes me wonder. Wghat was strange to me though was that there was a couple who had been in burn the floor on Broadway and on tour so you guys probably saw them. I guess I had thought-erroneously-that this was more for dancers without professional experience?

Thank you for the information about Mary Murphy, MB. We talked with her a bit at the theater after Burn the Floor on Broadway, and she was really down to earth and friendly to everyone. I'm much more impressed by how a celebrity treats others than by their resume. I hope she'll be back on the show more regularly, yet finds the balance she wants with her studio and public speaking engagements for domestic violence prevention.

MB, I noticed that about SYTYCD, also. I also thought it was for non-pros, but I guess we were wrong. I do know that some of the SYTYCD alumni go on to hire into BTF, but didn't know it ever worked the other way around. BTW, I noticed that Jason Gilkison, who choreographed and produced BTF was one of the SYTYCD judges on the first episode.
