Hey Teamsters!
Here's what I did last night, if anyone wants to do it. I changed my bio on classmates.com so the first sentence & a half mentioned #teammig# & MiG's CD!
Hey, ya never know! Any way to get his name out there!

OMG... the guy that I directed to TeamMiG for the video/photos of the benefit show ended up being a guy by the name of Steve that was playing guitar at the benefit while MiG was performing!! Haha...small world!!! He sounds like a cool guy and I can now see him in a lot of the background photos...he's the guy in the white t-shirt on the right side of MiG on stage. Well, here's his response to me (the comment about drag has to do with the photo on his MySpace page): Thanks for the links.
Yeah, that's me in the photo. No, I'm not typically in drag other than during a few Halloweens here and there. If you take away the wig and put a t-shirt on me, I might look a little like the guy that played guitar with MiG that night=)
Thanks again, and I'd love to be your friend!!
steveHe's now on my friends list!!! Yay!! #wav# #bounce015# #jump2# #bounce015# #clap# #clap# #clap# #clap# #clap# #clap#

Not sure if this is considered a Street Team effort but what the heck, it worked for me so you guys might want to try this out if you like. I've been in this cybercafe for the past hour and a half on a "stakeout". I scanned the place on entry, counted 22 terminals in all. Took up position at a strategically placed terminal, logged in, and automatically opened four browser windows. Force of habit, really - one for this board, one for MiG's MySpace, and the remaining two for some other sites; this time I picked Laura's MySpace and my own Yahoo email account. I turned up the volume a little on MiG's MySpace, and after some time you could count the number of silhouetted reflections of the people who'd stopped by at my terminal to peek over my shoulder and see what I'm up to. 45 mins into surfing, I briefly left my station to pick up a drink at the cafebar near the entrance of the cybercafe. I returned to my seat in 5 mins, and again through force of habit I scanned all terminals there again. Out of 15 terminals that are taken up, I picked out at least 8 other terminals - excluding mine - [/b] that were logged on to either MiG's MySpace, or to this board. That's like, what? Close to half the cybercafe?

Whoa, thanks for the karma. Time to hit the sack. Think my next move would be to select a school campus here at random and pull off a "Padua" (in reference to a scene in "10 Things I Hate About You" where 2 students flung a stack of flyers from the top floor of one of the school blocks, to broadcast details of a party they were throwing at a fraternity house). AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH *thud - Cat falling flat on her back from exhaustion - Cat does a thumbs up - "I'm good, don't worry about me" - lets arm drop to the floor - zzzZZZZ...*

yesterday was Secretary's Day. A co-worker gave me a Jack Johnson CD that she'd made. I'd never heard of him before. (He records lullabies, and some were featured in the Curious George movie). I absolutely love it and hope my son will. Anyway, my point..... a Miggy CD would be a cool gift to give that co-worker that has everything, etc.
