I've heard a few of his songs and like some of his stuff. He seems to have a variety of styles, doesn't he? I like one of his songs that has kind of a reggae feel to it (forgot the name).
He has some shared tour dates with Gavin DeGraw this summer. They actually both performed in Indy tonight, and they are performing in Colorado on Saturday (both are outdoor venues/festivals). Wish I could have gone to either of those.
I'll have to check out those sites. Thanks for the links!

If you're going to download any tracks I would recommend:
Butterfly & Bella Luna
And he's got a duet called Lucky with Colby Callait. It's pretty popular right now.
I'm still working my way through all the tracks. I've downloaded five and I'm sure I'll download at least that many more tomorrow. He's fantastic!!

Nancy, I think they are providing Web casts of the festival in CO where Jason and Gavin are performing tomorrow. Are you interested in watching that? Let me see if I can find the link....

Hmmmm, Nancy what's with you and guys named Jason!!!! #whistling# #th74a73472# I was thinking the same thing! ;D Not just Jason Castro and Jason Mraz, but also Jason Mesnick (from the Bachelorette). All good choices though! OK, here is the link to the main page for the live Webcast at the Mile High Music Festival. See the groups listed at the bottom with the scheduled times. I hope those aren't the only performers they are going to show, because Gavin isn't on that list! Jason is though, at 5 p.m. EST. attblueroom.com/music/Mile-High-Music-Festival/more-information.phpHere's the entire list of performers. It's a great lineup over two days, including Tom Petty, Dave Matthews Band, Steve Winwood, John Mayer, and Black Crowes. This shows the performers, and what time and stage they're on (I think these times are MST, not EST): milehigh.wakeupyourphone.com/lineup.htmlHere's the main site: www.milehighmusicfestival.com/

The live webcast is working right now! #happy036# Jason Mraz starts in less than an hour, and then Steve Winwood is after that. Based on the schedule on the other page, I think Gavin DeGraw is performing right now on the main stage, but they aren't showing that stage?? Here's the link... attblueroom.com/music/Mile-High-Music-Festival/live-webcast.phpHave you tried this yet, Nancy?

Jason Mraz is performing LIVE now!
They must be having trouble with audio. I had to turn it up much louder for him than the previous band. (Just waiting for my speakers to blast me at any minute! #thnerves#)

Yes, he did sound great. I may have to get his CD! Steve Winwood is up now! I hope he does some songs from the Chronicles CD. I listened to that quite a bit back in the late '80s. Well, back then I think I had it on cassette... (Can't believe that was 20 years ago! ) I really like "Higher Love" and "Back in the High Life". Maybe he's saving those for last.

Thanks for the info Joyce. Unfortunately I tuned in too late to see Jason Mraz and Steve Winwood but OMG Citizen Cope is on right now. I had never heard of them until I saw MiG at the Hard Rock in NYC and they were performing the same night. They actually had quite a bit of people there for them.

I think they will post some vids later. Hopefully some with Gavin too, since they didn't show him on the live feeds. There are 5 different stages there, and 50 bands! Tom Petty performs tonight, but they don't show him on the webcast schedule. Haven't heard of Citizen Cope before, or the other groups that will be on later tonight. But tomorrow night's webcast should be good...with John Mayer, Black Crowes, and Dave Matthews Band.
