I love that poster! Go Deanna!! I'm pretty sure Deanna made it - I know she sent it to Jaunty to post around & Jaunty sent it to me to post around or something like that. The one we got was HUGE, I downsized it to post here at TM. I love her hair!

Wow, Deanna is great with the computer graphics!!! And you are so right, her hair looks beautiful, it looks angelic! I think Deanna once worked in graphics.... If I wasn't so lazy & had the time I'd go find out .. she does have a background in graphics either from college or work or something - I just can't remember When I asked Jaunty about making banners for the Chili Cook-Off gig that is coming up, Jaunty told me that Deanna usually makes her own banners.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deanna_Johnston Deanna was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Deanna first loved sports but it was in college where she found her love for music. Deanna graduated with a degree in graphic design. She had been working in this field for approximately a year and a half when she was asked to go on tour with a band. That band was "Mask", based in Willoughby, Ohio which featured Deanna in various costumes dressed as Madonna, Cher, Tina Turner and others, and local drummer Steve Shutts, local male vocalist Dave Richards, and a couple of fellow Canadians. She quit that gig after friends urged her to move on, and Deanna has never looked back.

She is in very good company. Freddie Mercury graduated University with a degree in graphic design. He actually was the one who created the Queen logo...inspired by their astrological signs. His first related job...illustrating children's books, and he hated it, lol.

The link works, but it doesn't open a streaming audio show, it is some kind of file you download??? Has Deanna already taped the show for later broadcast? Obviously I didn't download it yet.

I do have quicktime, but what the link gives me is a window that says open, save, cancel. If I hit open, it starts a downloading window...it's not what I usually get with quicktime. No worries, I'll have time to download it tomorrow and listen.
