Cammy and Rose, those are wonderful quotes! They say a lot in a few words. And Mary Beth, your quotes made me laugh - especially the one about things not going very well when a player said everytime he hears the national anthem he has a bad game We cannot hold a torch to light another's path without brightening our own. Ben Sweetland

From a newstory on towntalk.com, serving the Alexandria-Pineville area of Louisiana... Debra Jackson said she likes shopping at the Dollar Palace because it is convenient and casual. "I don't have to get all dressed up like I'm going to Wal-Mart or something," she said.

Lol. ...I worry that I shouldn't be spending it, I worry that I spent too much, I worry that sometimes I don't worry enough about money! I am always torn between thinking I should save for that rainy day or spend it because I can have a great experience or opportunity that will be so worth it.

Hmmmmmmmmmm............ If both of you were in a tight budget and mig will have a big concert in your place, will you let the opportunity to be with him pass or spend your last dollar just to be with him? I'm just curious.

Hi eyecatcher, I am Mary Beth. I think I can speak for most of the people here. None ofus unfortunately are independently wealthy and many of us have strained the budget a bit to see MiG. I don't think any of us would spend our "last dollar" but we are amazingly talented at trying to pull things off. We have become friends and share tranportation costs, lodging costs and know how to eat on the cheap so that we can manage to see MiG-always an awesome experience-and not have to spend that last dollar. I missed the big Chicago weekend last year because my budget just couldn't stretch that far but if I had known that it would be so long before such a special weekend would come around again., I probably should have bent the budget a bit further and spent the weekend seeing MiG perform at so many great gigs and be with my TeamMiG buddies.

LOL.....when I saw this on the 20 posts I thought this was an odd question for a new poster but then once I checked out the thread it made sense --- Not my LAST dollar I think but I HAVE spent quite a bit on seeing MiG perform -- of course it costs nothing to go to a stage door so 'being with him' is not the issue it's the performance costs.....I would venture to say that I spent over $500 for an overnight in NYC 'just to see MiG' in his first official concert but I would not have traded that for the world because I got to 'meet' many of my friends face to face for the first time and to catch up with others I only get a chance to see one or twice a year! I've certainly gone out of my way *cough Montreal cough* with last minute trips to Toronto and cut short long weekends etc to make sure that MiG has a friendly face in the audience but if I had no money???.......well I have a family and children to take care of so no, I don't think I could or would put aside my family in favour of seeing MiG if it was a choice between the two hugs gee
