That will be interesting. There are a lot of variations in style to choose from.

I would suggest Wayne's World....two great band songs in there, Queen and Aerosmith!

It's going to be interesting to see which ones are left standing tomorrow night. Overall it's a talented group this year. James sounded great tonight. Scotty showed an appealing new side, and I always like hearing Lauren. Jacob, Casey and Haley also did well.

I think it's really hard to decide as they are all so good in their own way. But I think James might have the most appeal to the music buying public, which is the bottom line in the end.

James probably does appeal to a lot of people with his style - especially if he doesn't sing a lot of the heavy metal tunes. Lauren can sing many different types of music and she has a lovely voice. Scotty is making a lot of people take a liking to his type of country music. Jacob and Haley have less mainstream styles, but they're both very good. Casey was too funny when he went rolling across the stage during his final song. He's definitely an artist and fun to watch.

I will miss Casey as he was very interesting to watch. Not so sure I'd buy his music but I would pay to see him live, he puts a lot of personality into his performances.

What's the theme on American Idol this week? It's getting down to the wire.

Interesting info about Casey, MB. I agree, Toni, he was entertaining! Tonight was a good night. Haley did a great job with House of the Rising Sun. Scotty pulled out all the stops - he surprised me, and I expect a lot from him! They all had good moments during their performances.

word on the net is that Jacob is next to go. The good thing is, the top 10 or is it 12 will all get to go on the tour

This is a really good group of singers on American Idol this year. It will be a terrific tour. You were right about Jacob, MB (and you too, Toni). He has a great voice.
What in the heck was Lauren doing in the bottom 2? I wasn't happy about that. I felt so bad for her. This will be quite the battle among the final four. They're all likable and talented.

I would say that it's James to lose, so he needs to step it up. He could show a greater range of styles, show he can hold a tune without getting pitchy or screamy, show some humbleness, stuff that would endear him more to the voters. Actually all of them need to do that, lol.

lol That's good advice, Toni. I'm not into screaming either, so ditto on that! James is a terrific performer. Haley has continued to show more creativity as the season has gone along. Among the four talented singers that remain, my faves are still Lauren and Scotty. They have so much personality and talent at such a young age. Scotty would probably win the "most humble" award. I hope Lauren takes no prisoners next week and lets loose, because she has the voice and spunk to do it. All four have a bright future and any could win. I'll be very happy for whoever ends up as #1.
