I know a lot of us will have mixed feelings about the Highline Ballroom Record launch. I know I did. I am so proud of MiG and his new album. It is a wonderful album and really reflects MiG how he wants to be heard, I believe. I get very choked up by the Farewell USA part of the announcement , especially because I don't think there is any way I can go to this gig and bid him farewell. It makes me very sad. I am so grateful for all the times I did get to see MiG perform and each awed me more than the previous one. I am happy that he will be moving to London because I know he considers that a home too and I am happy for my English friends that now they too have more of a chance to see him perform. I hope some of our TeamMiG members are able to make it to see him off and celebrate with him one more time. There haven't been many gigs that at least a couple of us haven't made it to over the years and I am proud of how we have and will continue to support him-no mater where in the world he finds to showcase his talents. I find I can't say farewell and instead I will bid MiG AuRevoir and hope that we meet again

Hey guys dont worry we here in the UK will take good care of him as we always have. We have never stopped supporting him and look forward to welcoming him "Home" (I think thats a case of in the words of Paul Young "Where ever I lay my hat, thats my home")
We know how you are feeling right now, we have been there and done it but he always comes back!! I am sure there will be opportunities in the future for you to see him. (Something he promised us back in 2005 and he kept that promise year after year)
There is only one year we have not seen him and that being this year.
Dont be sad, be happy he is able to move onto a new chapter in his life.

Thank you for that, Carouselgirls. I have several friends in the UK and am so happy for them to be able to have some more MiG time, I know it was hard for them when he left for Rockstar. I am also happy that MiG will be going somewhere that he loves to be. But I will probably still allow myself to wallow in self-pity now that I am going to be on the missing end of the stick. But I live by the motto...Never Say Never... MiG is a citizen of the world, I believe I will again be able to see him in person.

Thanks Carouselgirls. I hope you will share any pictures and articles you find over there when he returns. Also we would love to hear about his new gig after you see it. It is more fun for us to hear about it from the perspective of one of his fans. I know like Stacee Jaxx he will knock this out of the ballpark too
It was great of you to post here tonight. Please come back anytime. Xx Mary Beth

And...I am proud to announce...I am going to be able to go to see him at his CD launch. This is something I really want to do, support his music, and I am so glad that I can do this, especially since the future is up in the air and across the pond is a wee bit far to drive.

Only a couple more weeks before MiG's CD celebratory party, so if you live anywhere near NYC or can get there for the concert on 12/12, then now is the time to make the plan and order the tickets. Airfare will go up after 14 days out, and you never know when the Highline Ballroom will be sold out for MiG's gig.

I will try to get some pics...I am notorious for getting distracted from picture taking as I get all involved in digging the performances. But I will try.

As usual, I couldn't get pics or vids because my camera battery was dead...but I did find a link to someone who took videos and put them on youtube! Don't forget to click like under the vid screen as you watch them. The vids are listed when you click on the vid tab on the main page. www.youtube.com/user/TerrHimself

This show was totally "MiGnificent", I wish you all could have been there. I wish I could have video of the whole thing! It's cool how MiG did Burn for You and then put the OZ promo vid of that song up on his website. His opener, Mike Clifford was great, he was a good choice to play for us. I remember him from 8 Mile Creek shows. After a short intermission, MiG came out, he looked great. He must have a certain personal trainer keeping him in top shape! Of course I don't remember the set list, but I can get it one of these days. He sang songs from his CD plus a couple others, and then audience made him come back for an encore. Afterwards, he had a meet and greet out in the lobby where he signed CD's and took photos. I hope some of those pics show up online somewhere! The line was rather long so we waited until it was done to give him our attention. It was a great night, and I'm so glad we went.

Well well well...look what we have here! A video of MiG singing his hot original High (hence the smoke in the video!) from his new album More Than Ever - live at MiG's album release concert at the Highline Ballroom, New York City on December 12. Please post comments on YouTube if you can so we can get a little buzz going for the video for MiG. This was taken from right next to the stage. Have fun viewing it!
