Hi Everyone, We love all the pictures that ya'll are posting...so thank you very much...but they're causing the site to load really really slow, so we'd like to ask that you try to resize them to approximately this size before posting them here: 490 x 368 (128 kb) Thank you so much!!! #thsmiley_peace#

If you upload them to photobucket there's a place before you start uploading where you can tell it to upload the pictures to this size... it's call message board size. Once I found that little beauty I don't have to resize BEFORE uploading. It seems to have worked well so far. Just thought I'd let those of you who didn't know about it.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think you can only post images coming for photo hosting sites.

lyrik, if you can right click a picture and copy the http: code that ends in jpg or gif you can post it inside the [/]img brackets. Photobucket is easier and it is free. and they make it pretty easy to upload pics from your computer. That way if your computer crashes, they are still there online and you can make them private if you don't want someone accessin your whole bucket.

AFAIK, you cannot upload/copy directly from the computer to the message board. Therefore, you need to upload pictures to a photohostingsite. Such as photobucket, picturetrail, flickr. All have free accounts. It is because you need a url for the picture to put inside the tags that you need to use photohosting.

If you use imageshack, www.imageshack.us you don't even need an account, you can just upload!

I have uploaded pictures directly from my computer as attachments, but recently it didn't work...I know attachments have a max file size but not sure if that is the reason as there are no error messages to clue you in.

let's see if this works now! *edited...woo hoo, yes! If you make sure the file size of the pic is under the attachment size limit, you can upload directly from your computer, and it shows as a thumnail which you can click to enlarge. So there ya' go! BTW, this is a pic from MiG opening the huge Bench Universe show in September 2012. He definitely looks like a prince of the Universe! Attachments:
