I would love to hear what some of your favorites are, I love scary movies! Especially Saw 1 & 2, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original), Psycho, and a whole bunch more. Of course ALL of the old ones: Halloween (all episodes), Friday the 13th (the first 4), A Nightmare on Elm Street (the first 2), Hellraiser (all 3), The Ring (1 & 2, though 1 is best), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Night of the living dead, The Amytville Horror, What Lies Beneath, The Saw (I haven't seen II yet). OMG, I've got to see Hostel!! Don't forget the Evil Dead trilogy!! Scary and funny!! Rhonda, did you know that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre actually happened?!?! (I pretty sure it says that at the end of the movie, its been a long time since I've seen it)! It was one of the first movies my mom rented for me to see when I was 16 and went to live with her. Has anyone seen the Mothman Prophecies staring Richard Gear and Deborah Messing?? That one is based on the Legand of the Mothman of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, which ties into the Legand of Chief Cornstalk. Heres some links so you can read up... www.prairieghosts.com/moth.htmlwww.prairieghosts.com/cornstalk.htmlMy grandmother was the first to tell me about the "mothman" when I was 9 years old and my Nanny (granmother on my mom's side) was the one to find that Cheif Cornstalk is 6 X's my great grandfather!! ;D

Carol, If you have some time, you may want to visit this site: www.afrogigolo.co.uk This is the web site and recording label of a new friend of mine named Victor Davies. His style is latin/salsa/jazz/soul. He has a really lovely/sultry voice and it's really easy to listen to. He has a new CD coming out in June in the US and has minute+ long snippets of each song on the site. The new CD is called Hear the Sound. He also has a myspace. He's in my top eight friends if you want to listen to more songs (full length versions)!!! Hope you like it. He's a doll!!!

Saw (I haven't seen II yet). OMG, I've got to see Hostel!! I highly recommend Saw ll! That should be the next movie you rent! I saw Hostel and loved the second half, but the first half was really naughty! It's funny when the killing parts are cleaner than the other stuff. But how they lure them to the Hostel is through all the hot girls...hot, naked girls. But I loved the killing scenes!

There's just so much disturbing stuff that goes on in the world, I can't stand to watch it in a movie....I wouldn't be able to sleep at night! And I just worry so much that young kids are going to become so immune to violence and that REALLY scares me!!! There....I said it.....now you and Rhonda can throw tomatoes, pies, and any other foods of choice.... (I think Rhonda owes me a pie in the face!) ;D **comes down off soapbox** You can also #blbl# and #dupa# me! Just don't come after me with a chainsaw! ;D

I promise I won't throw tomatos, pies, or come after you with a chainsaw, Carol! The mooning kinda looks like fun though! #dupa# But one of the reasons I liked the killing scenes in the movie was because all the rest of it was sex, and personally I'd rather watch violence than sex. I really can't argue with the whole making kids immune to violence thing, you definitely have a point. But to me it's just a movie and doesn't seem real, where as I think alot of people kinda imagine it happening to real people and that makes it hard, but to me I just think of it being actors and they're not realling being hurt. Now it's my turn to shield myself from tomatoes!

I would rather see something lighter... and preferably with a happy ending!! ;D Mary Lee and Rhonda - Glad to hear that there are other John Cusack fans out there! #wootrock# Yes, “Must Love Dogs” was great. It’s a crime that he has never been nominated for a major award. I read an article recently where someone said he is one of the Top 10 underrated actors (Richard Gere was also on the list; I forget who else). Peyton, you watch Almost Famous that often? I need to watch it again one of these days. My favorite scene is when they are singing “Tiny Dancer” on the tour bus -- they’re all in a bad mood or mad at each other, but then they start singing that song and it brings them back together again.

If you like thrillers without the gore, I recommend you see When a Stranger Calls if you haven't already. I really enjoyed it. Peyton, you watch Almost Famous that often? Yep! I watch it that often! The Tiny Dancer scene is my favorite, too. Especially when he says "I have to go home." and she says "You are home." It gives me chills! A few nights ago I was in the mood (yes I get in "moods" where I just have to watch it) but it was late so I was just going to start it and watch a little and then pause it and save the rest for the next day, but I got hooked and stayed up till 5 in the morning watching it. I'm addicted.

Hello Rhonda! The movie scared me to death because (ok, confession time and i'm really embarrassed to be telling you this) i thought at the time that i am watching the real thing...the documentary tape...i did not know that it was just a re-enactment there ya go! hmmm..mothman? was there one in the movie? I was not able to watch the entire movie, just the second half, that part where they are already in the woods and inside the tent and they hear freaky sounds...yay! now, i'm scared again! (sorry, i scare easily ) love, edel
