Grrrrrrrrrrrrr says it perfectly (good one, Sandy!). Yes, saying J.D. blew away the competition was false advertising.....I was shocked and appalled! LOL Kay

I haven't seen the ad yet, but "blew away the competition"? You have GOT to be kiddin' me!Were they watching the SAME show as the rest of us??? Did they forget his horrible version of "American Woman" (complete with pulling the hair of the girl in the front row) which almost sent him home in the FIRST episode and I'm still trying to forget how badly he butchered "We Are The Champions"!!! ARGHHHHHH!!!!

I can not beleive that they would actually say that JD blew away the competition. Was he not in the bottom 3 a lot more then MiG or even Marty. I'm very upset that they would even consider that as a part of there advertising. I know that MiG said he was going to be on the new show. I hope that this doesn't change his mind. I can't wait to see him on TV again. I would like to see him in person, but I'll settle for on tv.

More about JD and INXS: news.rgj.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060602/ENT02/606020304/1056/entQuote: "After several weeks it was down to Kurt Cobain soundalike Marty Casey and Elvis impersonator, J.D. Fortune. The two even partnered with the band to write "Pretty Vegas," a future hit single." I was surprised to read the last sentence....did not realize Marty had something to do with "Pretty Vegas".

I've only seen a couple of TV ads for RSS, and I haven't seen the one where they mention JD. But I finally realized why I have never seen an ad from the beginning: I am so used to hearing New Sensation for the ads that I don't look up until the commercial is partly over! They had me trained like Pavlov's dog! #lol#

Marty, Jordis, JD, and I forget who else were one team. Pretty Vegas was JD's version of the song they were all working on together when he left the group, and his final version apparantly had some stuff from the others in it. I have heard that both Marty and Jordis share some of the songwriting credit and therefore some of the royalty $$$$$ for Pretty Vegas.
