Sorry if I opened up a can of worms... I was just reporting what I found on the Rock Star site, which was just posted today. I don't understand how (or if) those concerts relate to the Rock Star: Supernova show--the first three concerts listed are on Thursdays, while the regular shows will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays (starting next week), I think. So, maybe they aren't related in that way. Sure wish they would have given us more info on the MSN site, and sooner! There's no way I could consider going to that concert either, on such short notice. Oh well... hopefully there will be plenty more opportunities for us to see MiG later in the year.

Thank you, Mary Lee and Nancy! #bearhug# For those having trouble with the new Rock Star site, try to access the video from this link: video.msn.com/v/us/v.htmThere are four parts to the show, plus a few advertisements mixed in between. After you watch the first, it should continue on to the other parts automatically. (Or not... You may have to choose them individually from the above site. That's what happened when I just tried it. #IDunno# ) Hope this helps...

Hey everyone, This was posted on the Rockband.com forum. After reading this, I get the impression that tickets will NOT be available for the general public! However, it's all so confusing and I know we won't know anything FOR SURE until we get the REAL scoop from Nancy and Laura! www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/06-29-2006/0004389699&EDATE=-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also new this year are MSN "Live Like a Rockstar" events, which will be kicked off at the legendary Roxy Theater in Los Angeles on July 13 with live performances by The Panic Channel, a new band featuring former members of Jane's Addiction, and an opening act. Exclusive scenes of the new season of "Rock Star" will be screened at the show, and radio station Star 98.7 will feature live remote broadcasts from the event to promote MSN entertainment content and build traffic to the "Rock Star" Web site. This major event will also be presented in Chicago, Boston and New York on dates to be announced. Tickets are available only via promotional offerings to "Rock Star" fans, who may also participate in a variety of contests on the MSN "Rock Star" site. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If they want to build traffic to their website at the concerts, then why are the tickets only available to those who are already RS fans?

That is great news. Good exposure for the boy. Except that I don't have a v-cast capability phone. Bah, humbug. Some of us will be left out of MiG goodness. I hope someone will have pity on us and provide transcripts and video downloads. Especially video downloads. #ditto# #1381#
