Okay, I have question about the RS:S tour.
Is the House Band playing on the tour?
I remember it being announced on the show that The Panic Channel and the House Band would be touring, but then later, on rockband.com, the House Band members reported that they had been dropped.
So, what happened on the tour?
Are any or all of them appearing? Nate, Jimmy, Paul, Rafael?

Nope, they are not on the tour. Not sure of the details, but many have speculated that it was a financial decision. I was looking forward to seeing them too, so I was bummed to hear about that. Last I heard, they were backing up Paul Stanley on his solo tour...

Yesterday I decided that even though I had not thought of anyone to go to the concert with me that I would go myself. I did not want to miss Juke Kartel. I called the arena directly and go a seat on the floor in row 11(that was a little further back-they didn't count the small VIP section in the row counting). The concert was held at the Value City Arena at the Schottenstein Center at Ohio State(we call it the Schott) It is a 19,200 seat arena when full of basketball fans. I know in a concert there are several thousand on the floor.
While waiting in line, I talked to some of the people around me and since most were Rockstar fans, I talked to them about MIG from the previous season and let them know that his CD was coming out in April and how awesome it is! I repeated that little spiel to many other fans that night and told anyone who said they had enjoyed MiG about his march sometime visit to hard Rock.Cleveland.
I had seen that there were going to be some JK Street Teamers there and I looked around until I saw them and offered to help. They had bough glow bracelets with JukeKartel.com on them, stickers, matchbooks and little glossy business cards with info about JK on them(out of their own money I found out later) There were four of them-one from Kentucky, one from North Carolina and I didn't hear where the other two were from. A couple manned the table and the other 2 went to work a different area. They gave me bracelets to hand out and I walked around the hallways and found some Toby fans. Some people didn't even know that Juke Kartel was going to be there and many were excited about seeing the house band. They were pretty bummed about HB not being there. The bracelets were very popular with the crowd. And again I got the opportunity to spread a little word about MIG's CD release.
One of the ladies I talked to had seen Dilana and Magni together at the hotel and it turned out they had all stayed at a close by hotel and some of the fans had seen Toby there the night before. OSU had told me that Dilana was supposed to open so it was a surprise to me that Juke Kartel opened. It was so thrilling to hear their first few bars and then see Toby come walking out on the stage. They opened with Save Me, did Burning Down the House, December(which was formerly known as Money Love), Rebel Yell and finished with Throw It Away. The guys looked and sounded incredible and the crowd loved them. Toby asked how many people had Juke Kartel bracelets and was thrilled to see everyone hold up their arms with the glow bracelet on them. They were not loving the cold but had come into Columbus the night before and had visited a couple clubs and had a great time.. The set was perfect in every way and the crowd was very excited and rockin' with the group but 25 minutes is just not enough Juke. Toby was totally hot to the point it is hard to take your eyes off him but when you do you see the other guys in the band also are hotties of their own too. There is something especially fun about Tommy-he has a great grin. You can tell the guys are so delighted to be getting their music to so many people! The people I talked to had come from Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Ohio. Seems like Juke Kartel is increasing quickly. I am so happy form them. They announced that up next would be Dilana and Magni. Now I had a real dilemma. I love Magni too but wanted to meet the JK guys so I went to get in line for the meet and greet. I could hear Dilana and Magni from where I was standing/ I was in a fairly long line to see JK and missed sev of Dilana and Magni's songs when a lady shushed us out of line saying they wouldn't be signing merchandise until after the concert was over~1130 pm (Wanda, they were selling a pink tank top, EPs with throw it away(regular and acoustic versions)December and Save Me, black tshirts with the JK logos and a hoodie black with the Juke Kartel written on the front and a JK logo on back. They were very cute but I hadn't brought enough money-duh!!) so I got to go back to my seat to see the end of Dilana and Magni. The first song I heard them do while in line was an acoustic version of Chris Isaak's Wicked Game-one of my fav songs, and they sound incredible together, their harmonies are great. I think Every Breath You Take was one of the songs they played but I had been up since 4 30 in the morning and as much as I thought I would remember things-I just don't. The lighting on Dilana was clear while they kept Magni in blue for most of the songs I saw, probably to make sure the audience knew it was her gig. Man, Magni sounds great though. Dilana sounded really good but she isn't as compelling to watch as JK to be sure. I enjoyed the part I saw and wished I had gotten o see their whole set. I hope Magni gets to be part of the team for the rest of the concerts. I think he adds a cool dimension to her performances and just wished I could have seen him do his own set.
The next two groups Panic Channel and Supernova were painfully loud and I think it interfered with some of my enjoyment of their music. JK wasn't amped to that point and still totally had the crowd.. I wasn't that familiar with Panic Channel's music. The crowd was enthusiastic about them and their were a lot of Navarro fans around me who were totally engrossed in PC's set. I thought the lead singer was good but not especially memorable. He did have a lot of energy and the song I remember best in this set was Highway to Hell.
Next up was Rockstar SN. I got the feeling they aren't too happy to have to add the Rockstar to their chosen name by a comment Tommy made. Tommy is an awesome drummer to watch. He really has a lot of passion with his drums. I didn't know before the concert that Gilby is an Ohio native. The band sounded good and had really neat lighting effects although the white lights they used were really blinding at times. Lukas vocals were sort of variable. On some he sounded clear and on others, it was hard to determine what he was singing. He was pretty enthusiastic and has looked like he has been the lead of the band for a lot longer than 6 months. He wore a black jacket with a big white cross on the back. He was all over the stage and it seem like people either love his style of falling around or not(I've never been a fan of that but there were some people around me who would disagree) They performed Boys of Summer which I really enjoyed, It's On, Leave the Lights On, Be Yourself(and 5 Other Cliches) , It's All Love, Headspin, Dead Parade, their finale was Can't Bring Myself To Light This Fuse but my favorite of their set was Bittersweet Symphony-they brought in a quartet of ladies playing other instrument for that and it was really impressive. Tommy Lee left his drums to play keyboard on some of the songs and did a great job on that instrument too. All in all it was a very enjoyable set. Lukas thanked the crowd for putting him in the spot where he belonged and said he had almost given up on being able to capitalize on his talents. He urged others not to let the naysayers get you down. Dave Navarro joined them in a song but to my dismay Lukas and Toby didn't sing together. The crowd enjoyed the whole concert but we were all amazed that SN walked off and didn't do even one encore. I don't remember a band I have ever seen do that so that bummed out a lot of people around me. Unfortunately for me at that point a stumbling drunk walked toward me, stumbled, one arm punched me in the eye while he spilled bear on the lady behind me. There might be a bit of a bruise this morning abut I was glad not to have a full shiner I was late getting upstairs because I had waited to see Toby and Lukas and the line to see JK was soooo long(I was happy for them) that there were so many fans who waited to see them. The line didn't start until 1130 and for the first 15 minutes I didn't even move a step! Todd came out after we had been in line for about a half hour and announced that they appreciated people waiting so long to see them so as long as people were willing to wait they would make sure everyone got a chance to come and talk with them. It was fun visiting in line with their other fans. and the girls behind me in line were the ones who took my picture with them. At one point there was an announcement that no pictures would be allowed since the line was taking so long but by the time I got up there everyone was taking pics. It was fun to watch them interact with the fans-Toby, Tommy, Eddie and Todd were at the meet and greet. Eddie and Tommy told me Dale was very sick and couldn't make it. (I am pretty sure he was playing though) Several women had the guys sign their boobs to the delight of the guys and Todd bragged that he got the first tush-I am not talking about the clothing. These folks had their bare skin signed. Wonder how they will keep those autograph s;- 0 The guys were so good with all their fans-they were very cute with the little people in line. That will be a memory for those kids! When I got to the line Toby gave me a big hug and I told him how I was excited I was to see them and meet them. You could tell those guys were loving meeting all the fans.I told them what good sports they were to see all of us. Toby didn't look the least bit tired. he is the master of face making for the cameras. he is a real cut up. When he is making a serious mug for the camera, you can tell he is having a hard time not laughing. I told them I was trying to recruit my daughter to take some friends to the Brisbane show. I asked Toby why they had changed the name of Money Love to December and they said some of the guys that helped write it weren't there anymore and they wanted to update the song and give it a fresher sound. I told him I liked both versions. Tommy gave me a big hug too. He has a lot of charisma too and had exchanged smiles with me a couple times in line. He has an amazing grin and they were thanking us all for coming. I didn't get much chance to talk with Todd and Eddie because there was a family that I had asked if they would wait and let me walk out to the parking lot with them so I left. there were still at least a dozen people in line and it was 1250 am at that point. The 4 street teamers were at a table after the signing table and handing out JK merchandise. They really did an amazing job street teaming. They stayed at the table and didn't even see some of the other shows
