I honestly think that Mary Lee's icon of MiG would make an outstanding cover.
Loving MiG's eyes as I do - I don't see in the CD cover what others are seeing in his eyes. Maybe it's my monitor. I won't comment further on his eyes, since you can't see what is missing.

Interesting..........I have to say that I too am not in love with this rendition of an absolutely gorgeous photo of MiG ~ defo would have preferred to keep with the very high end photography that UMG paid to have done.........ANY of the pix I've seen on his new site would have been nice.................including the original - on the sample case (if they wanted a 'serious' MiG~
First time I saw the new cover - yes I did see that the eyes were piercing (after it was pointed out to me) all I could think of was my six-year-old's artwork.....
Classy music deserves a classy frame - IMO
None of this would ever stop me from buying several copies of the CD -- but I wonder too if it will attract the masses and whether or not it's representative of what's inside the case.
Just my opinion ~ not everyone will agree..............

That isn't my favorite picture of his eyes either, but they are what we used to call "bedroom eyes" with the lids drooping, and it's very sexy!

I personally like the rendition on the sampler better than the one for the full cd. But that is just me. Wondering if there is any way to let his management know our opinions, not that it would make any difference, but they should have a way to listen to public opinion.

I am extremely bored. I am pretty much pissed. And then I got very, very, very sleepy. I went, I saw, I borrowed here and there from some of you, anyway. This has got to be the laziest and sloppiest piece of work I've ever done but oh well... I was expecting the CD sleeve to look something remotely like this, since the promotion photo came out with similar colour tones...

Wow...Cat, you should send that to Universal! I love the MiG banner across the photo with the fuzzy out-of-focus MiG on it!!! Very artistic, you are!!!
*as you can tell by my signature...I love that photo*

I like that, Cat! Another photo I'd pictured as a CD cover was the one of MiG in the Lola jacket, sitting in the director's chair, leg over arm of chair, looking down and smiling.
