Jane and all others outside of the US and Canada.... I informed Amazon several days ago about the CD, as I pre-order from them frequently. There is a place on there that asks what you want to pre-order. Then you fill in the name of the item and the publisher or recording company etc. I had everything except the CD album number, so will go back and insert that. Amazon does have Canadian and UK as well as websites for France and maybe some other countries, but I don't know if you can pre-order US CDs from them on that same date. I can ask. Let's research it! Other companies that do pre-orders include Wal-Mart and I am trying to verify Barnes & Noble and Target stores, to see if they do this also for CDs. Which other stores serve the Philippines, Europe, Australia and everywhere else for online pre-orders? Hopefully we can get some input from Edel and others about this. If everyone could actually purchase the CDs within the same 24 hours, we could give MiG a major push toward being number one. I've pre-ordered 7! I mention this because Amazon has a lot of influence. But you have to remember to do it yourself. Please don't wait for them to notify you, because I found out they didn't let me know right away, so I actually bought the celebrity item locally and had Efrem inscribe it, too. Then sent it on to a producer friend and he interviewed Efrem on television. Amazon notified me much later, as they did with another one. Those were both books within the past three years from the older actors, Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. and Richard Chamberlain. There is a big difference for MiG as this is his first CD, so we need to make the sellers take notice of him! And also send Bulletins to all our MySpace Friends, not just MiG fans, and any other online groups where you can tell people about MiG's music. I am a Street Team member as well as an Online MiGTeam member, so all of this is part of that. It is not too soon to gather new fans. Good luck! ~dolphin7~ Dale, that is great! Thank you! I've been leaving MiG CD banners on other bands in MySpace. ;D Jane

I was just floored when I saw the track listing for MiG's album. Have You Ever Seen The Rain is one of my all-time favorite Creedence Clearwater Revival songs. Jeremy is my second favorite Pearl Jam song right after Eddie Vedder's rendition of Last Kiss. Wake Me Up When September Ends is my sedond favorite Green Day song right after Boulevard of Broken Dreams. And lastly, Waterloo Sunset, WOW, just bought Def Leppard's album of covers last month and that's one of the songs they did as well. I love their version so I'm betting MiG's will blow me away. It's such a beautiful, melodic song, very un-Kinks-y. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

This is gonna be a stupid question ! But we are gonna be able to buy the CD in any retail outlet that sells CDs, right?! Like, Best Buy? That's where I buy all my CDs & I've been saving some b/day gift cards for this!
Miggy love & squishes, Stacy

Great going Jane! Keep it up!
TigerLily you really know your music - a connoiseur!
And Stacy, it's not a stupid question. People can buy MiG's CD anywhere they want. I am guessing they wanted an idea of how many people are going to buy, by having them sign up for pre-orders.
But the point I would like to make is, if you do buy it wherever you want to - try to make it on the release date or as close to that as possible in order for MiG to make a bigger, more noticeable impact. You know how it goes, it's all by the numbers. The more you sell or the more people watch TV or film, the more marketable they are the next time. And the more in demand they are for concerts, interviews, etc.
One month from now, August 22, 2006. The way MiG is making all these different appearances, who knows, maybe he will break records in his CD sales. Hope so!

Thanks for the compliment. I'm a music connoiseur, huh? Well, I guess so. My roots go back to Ricky Nelson and Elvis but MiG is so talented I don't think I knew any of the songs he does on his album could sound any better. I'm so glad he proved me wrong. I actually saw Peter Frampton in concert when Baby, I Love Your Way was a big hit and I have to say that MiG's version of the song on RS blew Frampton's performance out of the water. Frampton's live performance of that song was so far below MiG's that it's hard to believe. I'm so looking forward to seeing MiG live in Boston on Aug 3. Happy Birthday to me.

happy birthday to you, Lily. what a birthday treat that is! Jane Jane- Thanks for the wish. I think I'm actually more excited to see MiG and meet other Team MiGgers in Boston than I was to have front row seats to see Duran Duran on my birthday in 1993. It's getting to a point where I can't sleep at night just thinking about it. I hope I can still say that after the 800 mile drive to get there.

I will haul my buns to my local Wal-Mart at midnight August 21st to grab it at 12:01 a.m. Aug 23. I've only done that for Johnny Depp DVDs but MiG's music is worthy of the same effort, moreso actually. I wish they'd hurry up and set it up on Barnes and Noble and Amazon to sample the album.
