That is a good idea. I like that I could have looked up things as I came across them on the ballot. Maybe I'll try a mail-in next time.

Yikes!!! I planned on voting on Tuesday, but now I am worried that I will be in the world's longest line. And I am scheduled to work that day, too. So, where were all the voters in past elections? That really annoys me. It WASN'T THAT HARD to register and vote. Now all of a sudden it's important? It was always just as important as it is now. Grrrr. Last time I voted early, there was not even a line, this time the line wrapped around the corner. There were free water and donuts. They need porta potty due to the length of the wait. The long line was also an opportunity for supporters to torture us with their campaigning. There were even cars with loud campaigns blaring driving by. Some supporters were out of control, I think some of them did not take their medications today, they were hyper enough to the point that they were annoying. There was a guy giving flyer's for a nearby hamburger joint. He actually was taking orders ha ha ha. Toni, get there first. I think it will be different when you go to the polling place. Early voting happens in only a few locations. I think that is the reason there was a long line. We were at the Election office and they had maybe 30 privacy machines and fewer workers. We have three times the worker and space in our regular polling place for my district. Good Luck

I'm beginning to think that on Tuesday, they will not have long lines because so many that have voted early. We voted early to avoid the hassle on Tuesday and it took forever. Later that day a friend told us that it was always like that when voting early but he has never had to "wait" on November 4th; it was always really fast.

I hope you are right, Riza. But I will probably roll out of bed and go vote early, just in case.

We have three times the worker and space in our regular polling place for my district. Good Luck They have laws against some of that in Ohio. You aren't allowed to campaign for a certain distance? 100 yards maybe near a pollinmg place. Can't wear any political attire(if people wear a political button and are noticed, they are asked to remove it or cover it up, can't pass out any political literature near a polling place. The line has been very long several times in my voting history. I think it depends on the polling place and how many are in the precinct and how many machines there are. Lots of variables in everyone's voting experience. We are lucky to have the chance to vote as we choose wihtout being mugged or attacked going to the polls like in some less fortunate nations. For that I am grateful and if they hadn't changed the laws enabling me to vote absentee then I would have waited in line regardless of the wait. I have to admit I don't usually vote in the primaries though

A hundred yards is not far considering that they count it from the registration area. Our line was wrapped on three corners of the block, they can harass, mug, hold us hostage with their screaming politicking and we cannot do anything at all. And those drive bys with yelling of their candidates are done within the 100 yards because they are driving. The pollsters are all very professionals. The voters were there with their fav T shirts as in Rock concerts. There were kids running around, some people are even throwing football. It is a very different picture from what I have experienced in the past when I did early voting.

Well, it's tuesday. The line at our polling place wasnt too bad, and went quickly. We were there maybe a half hour max. It's pretty clear who will win, but I am still keeping tabs because we had a lot of other issues to vote on...all the local stuff. Some of the issues were so complicated, I'm glad I read up on them ahead of time. And can you believe it, there were some people who had to vote provisinal because they didn't have the proper ID...how hard is it to have what you need, it's not like a big surprise that you need your ID to vote.

Hi Toni, Cengiz has to get up so early for work that we decided to be responsible and stay home and watch on TV...but we sure are proud of our city right now. ;D

The TRIBE has spoken, time to push our sleeves up and be part of this rebuilding. We do not need to point fingers of blame, we need to raise our hands to help our country. Our presdident elect is not black or white, he is sort of in the middle. Maybe we all need to not be red or blue, but PINK.
Congratulations to all of us for a milestone in history.
