Techie question: is there a POP3-forward or e-mail redirect function? Only reason being is that I would love a TM mail address but I'd like to be able to send/recieve via Outlook. Another advantage of Outlook is that there's no storage limit other than your hard-drive space (seeing as I've got about 20 gig free - I think I'm safe lol)

Team MiG is now offering what we like to call "MiG Mail"... It's an email option right here on the site. You can now get your own address with yourname@TEAMMIGAYESA.COM. This is similar to Hotmail and Yahoo webmail. It features: email notification, address book, email forwarding, HTML mail capability, account status reminder, message search, aliases, reply addresses, and a generous amount of storage—25 MB per mailbox! Go to the HOME page and sign up now! www.teammigayesa.com #thanx# This is cool!! I added mine!! cammy@teammigayesa.com pssst another address for everyone to use to add a brick too!!!!!

Another advantage of Outlook is that there's no storage limit other than your hard-drive space (seeing as I've got about 20 gig free - I think I'm safe lol) Craig Not sure if this is the info you needed Craig.....but this is what I have found for you! ******************************************* How to retrieve mail from your POP email accounts Step 1. Make sure that your Internet Service Provider or company uses a Post Office Protocol (POP3) server. Step 2. Configure your mailbox to retrieve mail from your POP accounts. 1) Click Options on the main navigation bar. 2) Click the External POP Mail link. 3) Click Add Pop Account. 4) Fill in the Pop Server Hostname, POP Account Username, POP Account Password, and the POP Server Port fields. You can get this information from your Internet Service Provider. The Pop Server Port is typically 110. All four fields are required. 5) Check the Leave mail on Pop Server checkbox to keep copies of your messages on your POP server. A blank checkbox will erase all messages from your POP account. 6) Check the Retrieve new messages only checkbox to only retrieve new messages from your POP account. A blank checkbox results in retrieving all of the messages in your POP account. 7) Click Add Pop Account. A list of the POP Accounts you currently retrieve mail from will appear. Repeat steps 3-7 for each POP account you wish to retrieve mail from. Step 3. Retrieve your mail from your POP Accounts: Click Inbox on the main navigation bar. (How to access your mail) Click the Get External Mail link. If you receive a POP Mail Retrieval Error upon attempting to connect, click the Check your POP Mail configuration link and verify your settings. ***************************************** Hope it helps!!! I think this allows you to open mail from POP servers in this account though ... not sure! ETA:I think in order to have it forwarded to your Outlook account it would require one of the paid services....not the free version. The paid ones come with this option: Email Anywhere Send and receive email any way you please with Web Mail, IMAP, POP3, and authenticated SMTP. Mail Plus Total Protection works with popular web browsers and email programs to keep your messages safely in sync no matter where you are.~Dawn~

Is that option on the free version? Or does it just allow you to open mail from other accounts in the MiGMail one?
I might have it mixed up .... I thought the free version only allowed opening mail from other accounts and paid subscriptions allowed you to forward the MiGMail to another account to open it there.
Sorry! I will let the 'techies' handle it from now on! I am way too tired to think straight this morning!

The free account enables you to retrieve email from other accounts, but you have to pay to do the reverse - which is what I originally wanted. I have several mail accounts (Gmail, Hotmail plus my own domain), plus about six or seven different re-directs which I use for all of my freelance website jobs (normally webmaster@**domain**), which all go to my Gmail account so I don't really want to add another to my (growing) list unless it can be redirected. I've registered as craig@teammigayesa.com but seeing as I can't redirect it, I think I'll just keep using my craig@cwatson.org one. Shame though as I would really like a MigMail address

You could have the MiGMail forwarded to one of your accounts that has that forwarding option with it!! That way you can keep up w/ the MiGNews as it comes across the MiGMail server!!
I hope you can find a way to use it!!
Glad to see ya have signed up for an account anyway!

Craig... you can always keep the webmail and just use it for Street Team type efforts... like sending out Ecards, requesting MiG on TV shows, etc... ?? Just a thought. I've got tons of email accts as well, but this one is great for that kind of thing.
