Here is a little update on my previous post. Robert, our music dept. manager has been true to his word! He has been playing MiG every day since his CD came in. It is in a shuffle and one of his songs comes up every 4 or 5. We only got 2 CDs in for now and I left both of them in store, one for Robert to play and one for purchase just in case someone wanted to buy it. Well, I could stand it no longer and just had to buy one. Couldn't bear to be without it all weekend! But it's working!! One of the kids I work with was listening to it over the PA today and said, " You know, I think I will have to buy his CD!" So now I have the shipping and receiving guy who handles all the incoming CDs on the lookout for MiG and he will let me know when the 10 that are on order finally arrive. They should have been here by now. I can't find them in any other store in town, so I will just have to be patient. I plan to buy several to give to friends and family.

Donna #thsmiley_bouncetrampoline##wahooredeyespopping# #thsmiley_bouncetrampoline# I've bought 6 thus far... I don't want to leave MiG all alone... the more sales the better, even if it is us crazed MiG fans . I've got them as gifts all lined up to send out. I may even have to find another for my hubby - he's been listening to my copy & he has become a true MiG fan! He loves this MiG cd and keeps talking about the night we met MiG at the 3rd Coast!

Well, this isn't that creative....but, this IS graduation season! I'm sending my niece and nephew each one for graduation. It's also end of school, so lots of parties. I am going to make sure to have one for play at those parties!!! And it sure won't hurt to "set one up" as previously suggested, while it is playing!

This is definitely cheeky and a little bit sneaky but...why not? Peter Frampton - DJ on The Loop, Chicago!
Peter is a guest DJ on WLUP 97.9 The Loop in Chicago, live on the air tomorrow ( Wednesday 20th June ) from 4 pm to 6 pm central time! Listeners can call in to the show on 312-591-ROCK or 312-591-ROLL! Enjoy - it should be a blast!
The Loop's web site is at www.wlup.com/ Why not call and ask about his recording experience with MiG?!!!!

OK, here's my cheeky idea. I was just thinking about the MiG gigs that are coming up, and how the message board fans are sure to go to what they can get to, and this is what occurred to me. Whenever we go to a gig that is fairly close, we should make sure we take along someone who hasn't seen MiG live. Obviously, you can't often get someone to go for a 4 hour drive and spend the night, but if it's not that far, it would be a good way to make a new fan ... seeing MiG perform live is the ultimate, much better than tv or even a cd. Who wouldn't become a fan-atic after that!!! I dragged along a few girlies from work all the way to Cleveland, and now they are truly fans!!! They keep wanting him to come back close enough to see him. And I know both Nancy and Gee have gotten people to come to gigs and created new fans. Who could resist, lol!!!
