Yeah for beiing rough demos they do sound great. I extracted them from the Lionheart radio interview using some audio software I have since I knew MiGs fans would want to hear some of his original music besides Do or Die and Home in Me. I wish we had some more info about these particular songs though. For instance, when were they written? Did he write them for his Mignition project? What about other songs he has done? I know he has done some more funk songs in the past. Can we hear some? There were 5 songs on this demo so can we hear more?

katgirl... did you look in the multimedia folder ? there is about five funky ones on there... or is that what you were already talking about? Amy Well, I did see What A Fool Believes and What's Going On but actually I'm talking about MiG's funk originals from before MiGnition and also the DJ references a demo cd of 5 songs that MiG gave him, 2 of which are Send Down the Angels and Nothin' You Do. I almost feel bad having extracted those songs for such widespread attention because they are not released and a little "rough". I guess it's Ok since Lionheart radio played them anyway so they are already out there. It just makes me more curious about his other stuff floating around.

I don't think you have to worry about extracting them... those songs are all over the other boards too - IMO
Yeah - I'm very excited that MiG's direction is going to be funk/piano/rock... cuz i love it. and I think it's MiG's forte

I wish we had some more info about these particular songs though. For instance, when were they written? Just a little insight, I remember reading that MiG wrote "Send Down the Angels" when 9/11 happend. I wish I had more. I too am curious and looking for more originals. Let you know more if I find anything out.....

By chance has anyone burned a CD of MiG's RockStar, etc. songs? I guess I'm too old fashioned, I don't have an MP3 burner or player. Anyway, I could download from MSN, but thought if someone else has already gone through that hassle, I could buy a copy??? I'm on my knees groveling.

I love both of those songs too (Send Down The Angels and Nothin' You Do.) I can only imagine how much better they will sound once 'tweaked'. If they are this powerful as 'demo cuts', then I am very anxious to hear the finished versions! I really enjoy ALL the originals I have heard MiG sing and am looking forward to hearing many more over the next few decades!! ~Enjoy the Day~
