Here's a pretty cool...albeit outdated Blog: Hollywood Flip - test.arviedesign.com/blog “Rock Star: Supernova” cast and MiG Ayesa had a mini-concert at Universal Citywalk, stops by Hard Rock Café Hollywood for a media-only VIP after-partyPosted in News on March 14th, 2007 Star 98.7 radio personality Richard Blade hosted a rockin’ performance of the last six contestants of CBS reality show “Rock Star: Supernova” and former show contestant MiG Ayesa had a mini-concert to promote his most anticipated debut album, held at Universal Citywalk lot on a Friday evening (August 25th).Last six finalists: Dilana Robichaux, Lukas Rossi, Magni Asgeirsson, Ryan Star, Storm Large, and Toby Rand rocked after MiG Ayesa owned the stage when he performed one of his own original composition, some mellow revivals, and samples of what’s included in his upcoming debut album (his single is out in the market), which is being released through Universal Records. Later, Hard Rock Café, Skyy® and the rockers presented a signed $1,500 check onstage to the GRAMMY Foundation, a non-profit foundation with a mission to cultivate the awareness, appreciation and advancement of the contribution of recorded music on American culture. The Foundation accomplishes this mission through programs and activities designed to engage the music industry and cultural community as well as the general public. More pics at Photo Gallery. Blogger writing about MiG's CD! journals.aol.com/shadierush/NeverGiveUp/entries/2007/04/10/draining/1347from her journal: In other music news Mig Ayesa from the first season of Rockstar released his album today. I already got on Amizon and bought it. I don’t know what it is about this little Aussie, but I just love him too!
I already bought Marty Casey’s Album, also from the first season of Rockstar and Rockstar Supernova’s album. I didn’t buy Rockstar INXS’s album because they passed over Mig and made J.D. Fortune their lead singer and I thought that was just wrong.

From AOL Money and Finance: www.bloggingstocks.com/2007/04/13/amazon-borders-importing-aussie-rockstar/Amazon, Borders importing Aussie "Rockstar" Posted Apr 13th 2007 6:43PM by Georges Yared Filed under: Consumer experience, Magazines, Internet, Blogs, Amazon.com (AMZN), CBS Corp 'B' (CBS) Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) and Borders (NYSE: BGP) have made remarkable strides to become "more than just books." Amazon features movies and music among so many other products. The same for Borders. They have the almighty asset -- the customer list and loyalty. Amazon and Borders are promoting a new artist to the shores of the United States -- MiG Ayesa. MiG is a very well-known singer and actor in Australia, the Philippines, London and soon, the United States. You may remember MiG among the three finalists on the CBS (NYSE: CBS) television show of mid-2006 "Rockstar: INXS." He "survived" to make the final three to become the new lead singer for Australian band INXS. The live audience and television viewers were treated to MiG's magnificent talent for 12 consecutive weeks. That MiG was denied the chance to front INXS is good news; MiG's talents transcend that band, as he is spectacular and tremendously versatile on his own. Universal Music did not wait long to sign MiG, inking a recording contract about two days after the show ended. "MIG," his new debut CD, is a collection of classic songs that MIG has re-worked to near perfection. He collaborates with Peter Frampton on "Baby I Love Your Way" and legendary Queen guitarist Brian May on the Queen classic "Who Wants to Live Forever." MiG does a rendition of "Life on Mars" that would make David Bowie proud. The string arrangements were perfected by Paul Buckmaster, who worked on nearly every Elton John album. Amazon and Borders were among the first retailers to grab hold of this amazing artist's debut album. MiG Ayesa took the risk, and smartly, to leave the hottest musical show in London's West End. He played the lead character in "We Will Rock You," a beautifully done, futuristic musical encompassing 24 classic songs of Queen. MiG was comfortably leading the show eight performances a week in the sold-out Dominion Theatre, to routine standing ovations. The audience would stand and join the cast, led by MiG, for the encore song "Bohemian Rhapsody." As Amazon and Borders expand their product offerings to maintain and build their customer base, new artists like MiG Ayesa will certainly help them to attain that growth and sustainability. For more info on this dynamite artist, check out www.mig-music.com.
