A bit about the gig:
With over 300 million albums sold worldwide, Queen are one of a select few truly iconic British bands that can claim to be a supergroup. With over four decades of music and 18 number one albums to their names, they are recognized as one of the most influential rock bands of all times.
2008 sees the launch of a new concert celebrating the music of Queen, which will give fans the opportunity of hearing these classic songs as never before. The Music Of Queen – A Rock & Symphonic Spectacular, features full rock band and stars from the West End smash hit musical We Will Rock You, combined with a 60-piece symphony orchestra, performing epic arrangements of Queen’s music.
“Stunning” and “awesome” are just two of the words which have been used to describe this concert experience and composer Richard Sidwell has done an incredible job in expanding original Queen arrangements into a completely new symphonic score.
With over seventy performers on stage this has to be one of the biggest rock shows on earth, featuring all of Queen’s classic hits including: A kind of Magic, Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, We Are The Champions, Somebody To Love, Who Wants To Live Forever, Killer Queen, Don’t Stop Me now, Fat Bottomed Girls, I Want It All, and many more.

Wend!! I'm so excited for you!!
I would LOVE to go back to the UK. I absolutely loved it there when I visited London back in 2005. Darn those fuel prices. I wish there were some affordable flights to the UK from Chicago.
And the worst part of it is...Wimbledon starts soon and I'll be tempted by all those beautiful pics/shots of England for two weeks solid!!! ;D

Thanks Toni!! I love hearing everyone in the crowd singing along. Reminds me of the Rolling Stones concert here a few years ago when 60,000 people were singing Angie together with Mick. It was surreal. **ETA** How fun when the whole crowd is jamming along to Bo Rhap!!!
