OMG, I saw The Dark Knight this past weekend! I can find no other way to describe the movie other than "it's DARK!". I don't think it's a "must see on the BIG screen" if you have a really good sized TV at home, but the movie is a definate must see! Heath Ledger's performance was off the scales! VERY talented actor, and in my opinion, far surpassed Jack Nicholson as the Joker. Oh, and Christian Bale - HELLLOOOOO! #hot_007# P.S. the movie is very complex, I'm going to have to watch it a few times b/c I got so confused and lost in the storyline. And I also add that if you are a true Health Ledger fan, you will not want to miss this performance, it is indeed his finest and defining moment. (hope this helps Nancy, you won't be dissappointed). I have been a Heath Ledger fan from since 10 Things I Hate About You and feel so melancholoy about seeing this movie. It is good to know that I can wait to see it at home on my big screen and thanks for the tips about being "complicated". These days (old age?) I tend to get confused. At home I can stop, rewind, & replay.

Rhonda... SOOOO glad you liked it!! And, YES, it's VERY complex! When I saw it the 2nd time, I couldn't believe how much I'd missed!!!!! Well, for those who love Heath (which includes everyone here, I think!!!)... you'll love this story! I posted it on my Entertainment Site, and thought you guys might like to read it too. As if we needed MORE reason to love these guys!!!!!! Depp, Farrell and Law to give Heath’s daughter Matilda paychecksJohnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law have donated their earnings from new movie “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus” to Heath Ledger’s daughter Matilda. The actors who all filled in for Heath, following his death from an accidental prescription drug overdose in January, wanted to give their money to Heath’s two-year-old child with actress Michelle Williams to ensure she has a secure future. The movie’s director Terry Gilliam said: “The three actors were totally heroic coming in. This doesn’t happen that often, where there’s a tragedy like this, and very famous, very successful actors suddenly say, “Ok, we’ll do whatever it takes to help.” “The came, they did the work, they allowed the movie to be finished, they didn’t take the money… the money goes to Heath’s daughter. That’s extraordinary!” “I’m so glad these guys are so humble. That’s why they make a great addition to the film. It will be bittersweet seeing this movie knowing he was filming it only days before he died. This picture still hurts to see because as we all know he did die a couple of days after this picture was taken. My thoughts will always be with Heath.” Johnny, Colin and Jude will all play Heath’s character Tony as he is transported into three separate dimensions, which he accesses via a paranormal mirror belonging to a traveling theatre troupe. xoxoxo Laura

Thanks for the update Laura. #clap# #clap# to these generous people! How great is it to read somehting noble the actors are doing instead of reading more stories about the bad behaviors.

Thanks for that info Laura. Love those guys and that is such a selfless act #thhappy096# And I'm definitely intrigued by the description of that movie...looking forward to its release.
I finally got to see The Dark Knight yesterday. Yes it is dark but what a great movie. And I can't say enough about Heath Ledger. It's a shame he can't be here to reap the rewards of such an incredible performance.
It's definitely a movie that you've got to see more than once though. I'm a little fuzzy on some of the details too.
