I had planned on watching, although I'm not really interested in hearing him talk about his 'orientation', because I don't care whether he is north, south, east, or west...but unfortunately, my tv wouldn't pick up that channel. Today I had to rescan my digital box because of the digital signal/analog signal switchover, and the abc channel wasn't picked up like all the other channels. Wierd, it's the strongest station signal in our area, and the only one I can't get now.

The 20/20 show was about more things than as just his "orientation." I was really impressed with how well he carried himself in the interview. I was so glad they actually had a ROCK journalist doing the interview. Chris Connolly does a very good job in interviews. The best part of the whole thing was when they showed clips of Adam rehearsing for the Idol Tour. I'm more determined than ever to see the show because I didn't recognize either song he was rehearsing and they were really ROCKIN' from what I heard. All in all, it was a very interesting interview, especially when he commented on his momentary panic curing the cover shoot with the snake. My first question of whether it was a live snake was answered in a video clip I saw on line and the second one was answered when they asked whose idea it was to use snakes and he raised his hand because he had wanted to do an Adam & Eve concept with a snake and an apple, the fruit of knowledge. He said they took a couple pictures but changed their mind. All in all a good interview.

Hey, y'all, my birthday week up North just got better and better. This was posted on an Adam site I'm on about 2 hours ago:
Adam Lambert will take part in Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series on August 7th, appearing with fellow American Idol alums, David Cook and Kris Allen in New York City's Central Park! Good Morning America airs live from 7 to 9AM EST, with concert performances usually starting around 8:30AM. And for those wishing to attend the concert IN PERSON, entry is FREE and takes place on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 6AM on the day of show
OMG! I can't believe I'll see MiG as well as Adam, Kris and Cookie all within two days time plus Rock of Ages. That's gonna be one cool birthday week for me. YES!!!!!

Wow, congratulations to your big celebration! Did you know that we could have all gone to see U2 for free when we were there in March? I had heard about it, but forgot all about mentioning it by the time we got to the bar...it was on that Friday morning. We could have gone straight over from the bar. You are going to have a great holiday, that's for sure!

I'll be dead by the time those two days are over. Since Rock of Ages won't let out until about 11 or after we'll barely have time to go in, change clothes and prepare to go stake out the gates at Central Park cos i definately don't want to wait. I want to be there no later than 4 a.m. (which may be too late to get up close to the stage for vids and pix) I'm sure Karen and I won't be the first ones to have that idea. The last time I did something like that I camped out at the venue to get FESTIVAL (general admission) Seating tickets to see Bon Jovi and Cinderella. I was already excited about that week and now it's even worse...

I don't think they "open" until 6am...so you will all have to camp out in the park somewhere nearby, lol.

I know the gates in that area don't open unitl 6 a.m. but I'm sure that people are going to be out there early. In fact, I KNOW they are because they were lining up at 5 a.m. for the Early Show shoot and the Today Show shoot because the newscasters made mention that the crowd had started gathering that early. I just want to be in a good position to get vids and pix that I can share. I don't think there's a snowball's chance down South of anyone getting physically close to any one of the three of them during this thing but who knows. I'm going prepared just in case because there are a couple teenage girls that I know here who would LOVE Adam's autograph. The administrator of the Adam Lambert Network has already drafted me to get vids and pix if I can. She's the one who met MiG while he was in LA and said he was a really nice person.

Yes, Riza, it was a very nice interview. I love the fact that Adam is so confident and comfortable in his own skin that he feels free to express himself. It's refreshing to come across someone like that where every one in the public eye tries so hard to be politcally correct. I was impressed with Adam's calmness during the interview. He's a very unique individual and I like it.

It is not only his confidence and his sincerity, he is very POLISHED, not in a fake way. He is also so right on target. How he expressed himself makes one understands him very well.
He is a very admirable person, I sure hope he does not get spoiled by fame.... On second thought, I do not think he will. He seem to be so grounded.

I liked the other two parts of the interview as well. In part two he says he has no idea what the future holds, that it could hold marriage and children, that he would love to have a child someday. He also said that he's "bicurious,' a phrase coined by Chris Connolly on 20/20.
In part three he and the interviewer were checking out jewelry and "out there" fashions including a pair of terrycloth gymnastic shorts in bright yellow and a pair of studded denim shorts that the interviewer said she'd like to see Danny Gokey in (LOL). Adam laughed and said, "Me too." It looks like he was picking out things for his AI wardrobe. He tried on this pair of motorcycle boots with a studded cross down the front of them...AWESOME. Then he tried on some necklace/chokers that he was really digging. I'm so looking forward to getting the chance to see him live in NYC in August. Getting to see Kris and Cookie is a bonus for me.
