As Toni said in the Handel's Messiah Rocks thread (GiGs and Appearances board), if the show isn't scheduled to be on your local PBS station, consider sending them an email to let them know you're interested in seeing it! Otherwise they may underestimate the interest and miss out on getting a lot of viewers.

Argh, I just had a mile-long post here, and another program that was open crashed the computer and I lost it all. I will try and recreated what I had, but it will be abbreviated because I am frustrated, grrrrrrr. OK, starting again... This is a project started by Nancy, a gal whose daughter is in the choir that was in HMR, and I said I would bring it over here. This will help MiG whether he is going to do the tour or not, as any publicity will impact DVD sales, which in turn will bring MiG's amazing talent to more people. It is easy, just write up an email suggesting they have a story about Handel's Messiah Rocks, with the principles and choir of course, and pimp it up grandly, and send it to the morning shows. This is the right season to get this going, and with TM and the HMR mom's participating, maybe we can create enough of a buzz to make it happen! I will provide links to make it easy, and the same email can be sent to all shows. Be sure to mention not only the great music, but also MiG and the other stars, the Boston Pops, and the Choir! If the singer doesn't wear cowboy boots and a ten gallon hat, no one around here is interested.

You gave it your best shot.

Just bumping up the hot links for writing to the mornng shows to ask for a segment on Handel's Messiah Rocks. It only takes a few minutes to compose a request and you can copy/paste it into all the different contact forms. A big thank you to all who take the time to do this.

Wow, Tulsa is a 'far piece' from your neck of the woods!!! It's about a 3 hr. drive. Same as going to Dallas from here.

Wow, I thought it was further than that. It takes that long to get to Tupelo from Tulsa, and I thought that was closer than where you are. It only takes two hours to get from Tupelo to Dallas.
