Kay, you inspired me to go post about United As One on some different myspace sites! Also, another blog on the subject...trying to keep up the momentum a bit. It has almost hit 10,000 views in less than two weeks! I do hope this song will be on his CD, maybe as a bonus track or something. I really love this song on it's own, regardless of it's main purpose!

Our minds are in sync! There have been a lot of efforts to keep that number getting higher! There's a lot of opportunity for more. Agree on the song - it's really a fantastic song. It keeps "playing" in my head!

The morning news says that the Typhoon hit the Phils this morning and there was, once again, a lot of damage, but so far no deaths reported. I know this area gets typhoons all the time, but this year it seems they have been hit excessively. They still need lots of help to recover. From reading Alecks posts on fb, there are still lots of relief efforts and volunteerism and donations needed.

After Ondoy (Ketsana), we had Typhoon Pepeng, then Typhoon Ramil (sorry, I don't know the international names) which caused landslides up north and now Typhoon Santi. We also had a mild tremor a few weeks ago.

That is so stressful to get hit with so many natural catastrophes. I am so sorry you and your countrymen are going through all of this and hope you and your family are still safe

btw, did ya'll notice that MiG's vid passed the 10,000 mark in only two weeks! The first week it was up, it had 8 honors listings, too. A lot of people have seen it, and I am sure he has made a definite impact on the awareness and the donations.

The paper said Manila took a direct hit and that prior theree were still parts of the area submerged. Now there is fresh flooding. Before this hit there were still 95,000 people in shelters in manila alone. I feel so bad for them. Hopefully the video will help drum up more donations.
