Here is a site link from mj's blog that has all the Crystal videos in one place. She is amazing mjsbigblog.com/crystal-bowersox-toledo-homecoming-photos-videos-and-recaps.htmSimon picked Hallelujah for Lee. Turns out Simon has some stake in the song and it has already been sung once before so I wish they would have picked a different song for Lee. He is bound to be compared to tim from earlier and jason to say the least It will be interesting to see Lee sing Hallelujah. It's surprising that was chosen when it's been sung a few times already within the last couple of years.

hallelujah is a beautiful song, I haven't really heard anyone do a bad job with it...but must we hear it so many times?

Idol was really a good one...I'm thinking that Casey will be gone, though. Crystal is best singer, but I am not seeing improvement. She just does her thing, which is marvellous although not sure it's as marketable as a pop/rock singer. Lee doesn't have as good a voice, but does seem more marketable in general. He has improved an amazing amount, and he really did a great job with his songs, I like the spin he put on Hallelujah. I have no clue who will win, though.

Oy, Casey sounded absolutely horrible on his sing-off song!!!
*Jason did a beautiful job on Hallelujah...still, I have a real affection for Leonard Cohen singing it, there is something about him singing his own song, with his deep, gravely, not so good voice, that seems to have that extra emotion. It's odd that most of the guys who cover it are tenor voices.

He really did but he was very composed in his disappointment and so cute with his niece.

Casey wasn't really focused on singing as much as he was on enjoying his last moments in the competition, greeting fans and holding his niece. That was sweet. He seemed so polite and grateful for the opportunity. It was touching when the video showed him going back to thank the doctor and medical staff that saved his life after his accident. I really enjoy his performances. He did great with Daughters - nice sound.
Nancy, that MTV piece was quite a compliment to Jason. The song was very meaningful to Jason, and that came through. He was terrific. I don't agree with the writer that Lee's version was only "acceptable" and "fine." I thought he did a great job singing it.

One thing I hate about the last few episodes of AI, (and RSI, of course), is that they have to vote off very talented people. Casey had some great performances. It will be very interesting next week seeing who will win. Which reminds me, I recently heard an Adam single on the radio and again was somewhat disappointed. Why? Because his singles seem so overproduced to me. I think he has such a great voice, and it is so disguised and lost among all the fancy effects and music. All that jazzy stuff is fine for live performances to make it a fun event, but I would like his recorded music better if the lead mic was turned up more.

Turns out Crystal could sing very well at 13 check out this video. What a sweet pretty voice she has and a lot of poise when performing. Her guitar skills are pretty good for that age also

Nice hair (sorry, not a fan of dreads on straight hair). She def has an inborn talent. She pretty much sounded the same at 13 as she does now!

I don't like her dreads either but I like the way they have styled them away from her face most shows. I like both Crystal and Lee-Crystal a bit more but I do have to say she out performed Lee tonight. There were other weeks I thought he out performed her but if votes were based on best performance-and we know they are not-she should win,

She def did better last night. She did her usual, but Lee seemed to have a case of the nerves, and he seemed so...well, like in a trance. And yeah, it's a toss up. I am not watching, but am going online right now to see who won. I found this season rather underwhelming in general.

I said this all day long today. Crystal should clearly be the winner, which is why it will be Lee.

Lee seems so nice but Crystal's performances yesterday and today blew him out of the water. VFTW is claiming victory ffor their pick. I want to hear what he sounds like when he isn't so nervous because i did enjoy several of his performances togehter. Actually I like Lee and Crystal singing together, Cryystal was amazing singing tonight wiht Joe Cocker and alannis Morrisette. She seemed so comfortable and like she was having the time of her life. I think they will both be very successful. I liked Casey and Bret singing together too

One other thing. I love Beautiful Day but why are they giving Lee a cover to release as his first song???
