Gee, your pictures are amazing! We missed you in Columbus, so I'm so glad you and Francine could get away, have some fun, and meet up with Riza. You, Francine and Riza look gorgeous! And Riza's new 'do is really cute. You three look like you're having a ball - and causing just a little bit o' trouble..... in a very good way lol MiG looks terrific, and it's easy to see he was his usual sweet and engaging self. The photos with the cast members are great! In addition to being so attractive, they're all very nice and fun people. Angela looks so cute in that hat! The fact that MiG landed in your lap is too funny. I give you credit for containing yourself - I would have probably broken out laughing! Nick grew up 8 blocks away from you? How cool is that?!? Your sunset picture is really pretty. Please tell me you didn't take the picture while you were driving at a high rate of speed, Gee?!? I hope not - you could have ended up in Davy Jones's locker! Cari - it's great you stopped by and posted. What, pray tell, did Gee do from the rafters in Detroit? Inquiring minds want to know! #thblissysmile# #happy036# oh, ok, i thought maybe Gee might have already told about this . . . its nothing huge or exciting, but it was really funny. When we were in Detroit, we had nosebleed seats. Not much chance for Gee and Toni to be a "part" of the show . . . so you would think, right? At the point when they are saying that Dennis had dies, Gee, from the balcony area yells out"oh no" or something like that VERY LOUDLY. And APPARENTLY loud enough for the "Lonny" to hear her, because he and the audience laughed and he said "yeah, what she said" lol the house jut erupted with laughter lol So, yeah, Gee, i think the point was that you FOUND a way to be a part of the show, even with us in the cheap seats lol

LOL.....oh sorry Kay that was you not MB - I should take the time to proof my stuff!!!
Love those pix of Patrick! he has such incredible light BLUE eyes - they are just captivating!!!
Security -- WILD -- you can walk in and out of the theatre at will (something I've never experienced before btw) and cattle call and be somewhat obnoxious but you can't be at stage door!
They have 'important people' perform there 'you know' (I know Kenny Loggins will be there next month - lol!!) so the 'big' security. When the one dude told the woman to 'get on the grass' several of us turned to him and said 'um she's the STAR of the show!!!' - oh duh!!! The crowds were varried -- smallish groups most of the time - Sat night was of course bigger. Usual MO in my experience - Con doesn't have to deal with hair so he's often out fairly quickly but doesn't stay for too too long - MANY stage door peeps are Con fans for sure -- I did what I could to help peeps get their pix with him before he takes off -- then slowly as they wanted to, cast would come over - and will come over if you call their (real) names - you've taken the time to know who they are IRL -- and MiG ALWAYS takes the time to speak to every singler person who wants to talk to him, get something signed or have a pix taken -- much to the chagrin of the peeps in his 'car' - as they patiently wait for him to talk to his fans. There was a group on Sat night who've been fans since RSI - had his CD (awesome!!!) and said they recognised him right away -- "even with the wig and everything?" MiG said.....YES the one girl said!!!! too funny ---
some peeps poked a bit of fun at the one security dude - not sure that it was intentional but Connie has a habit of getting folks to 'get their cameras ready' cuz he's usually in a hurry to get outta there - well someone kept hitting the flash - and the security dude complained that it happens ALL the time - he gets flashed in the face!! heehee....no it wasn't me!!!! that's gonna happen at night.
I have been to many stage doors in Toronto and so on - I MET Brian May and Roger Taylor and Ben Elton at Stage Door - and yes it was swamped but hey -- and there were no issues like the issues these peeps create by doing the whole fence and on the grass thing ---
as for jumping down to stage front -- ahahahaha...I was gonna do it anyway -- I'm not so sure they could/would toss an old lady out for going to the stage??!!!! oh okay maybe they would....lol......
As for 'on stage' antics - if you go with a ROA tshirt - wear a cammie under it - just in case they want ya to 'flash them tatas - and that's all I'm gonna say about that -- Chris can be a 'bad boy's sometimes!!!!!
looked cold in Columbus!!!! hugs

so was there any bubble wrap on the audience in Florida? Or did anyone say oh no when Dennis died, or anyone get rowdy enough for Con to tell them to shut up right from the stage? Yes, people, Con will tell audience members to shut up if they are too loud.

LOL....no bubble wrap but I did see quite a few lighters!!!! and YES -- Con did tell them to shut up at least once on Friday night -- the crowd was um.....almost inappropriate at times shouting out stuff that had nothing to do with the show -- Sat was funny -- some girl kept shouting out 'kiss her' and you just wanted to say WAIT - IT"LL COME!!! lol.............
hugs gee

Very interesting about the ROA shirt and cammie, Gee! We'll take that under advisement! lol Here's another round of photos. Gee - it was cold in Columbus - especially the last couple of days. These photos were all taken with Mary Beth's camera, and MB took the ones she's not in, of course. The Palace Theatre in cold, cold Columbus This is just the cutest pic! - MB and MiG Darrell, Toni, MB and Wanda relaxing at the hotel MiG and Kay at the Palace

Hey, y'all. I'm slow with the pix (what few there are) from Louisville but I promise to get them up in the next day or so. Heidi's birthday (2 weeks late) was everything I wanted for her and more. It was a blast from start to finish and MiG has a fan for life in her. When he found out her birthday was two days after his he started calling them (MiG and Heidi) Capricorns United. We had two amazing things happen that left me awed. First, when we checked into the hotel and I was chit-chatting the deskclerk I made a comment (because they ask what brings you to Louisville) that I was brining Heidi for her 20th birthday a couple weeks before and she had asked if we would have a balcony as part of our room. Well, the balconies are only part of their $195 a night suites and I had just gotten us a double room for $95. The lady looked at me and said, honey, she's gonna have her balcony and I won't charge you extra either" so we got upgraded to a balcony suite. Heidi freaked out when she found out.
The second thing happened a few days before. I went online to see how close I could get tickets for the evening show on Saturday. I had the KY Center's box office up on one side of the screen and Ticketmaster (B'way across america) on the other. I put in best available on both sites. We had 12 row for the matinee. KY Center's best seats were 10th row. Ticketmaster had 2 seats, Row AA, orchestra on the right. Yep, front row on the side MiG exits after Renegade. I only paid $5 more all together than what I paid for the 12th row tix. Now I wish I had taken the bubble wrap...oh well.
I'll post more when I post the pix. Oh, Heidi says that Patrick is her new boyfriend and that his hair is as soft as a puppy.

Wanda, that sounds like a birthday Heidi will never remember and what a great time for you too. Patrick is cute, has those amazingly blue eyes and is very sweet. Heidi will have to learn to drink Pepsi by the vat and learn how to cheer rock chalk Jayhawk for Kansas basketball. Those are two of Patrick's favorite things.I have been so impressed by how this cast is so nice and friendly. Travis skips out of there very fast but whenever anyone asks to speak with him or take a picture he seems happy to oblige. I think he may be shy? I am very anxious to see your pictures and hear more about your weekend xx

In Columbus when an area made a bit of a ruckus(not sure but I think they were laughing at MiG going down the aisle) he shouted homeless people. I know he meant to be funny but since it was below freezing and snowing and icing I just didn't find the humor in it with so many homeless people out in the cold. I loved hearing all about your time in Clearwater and with Riza, Gee

Wanda, it's so great that you got the hotel room upgraded to a room with a balcony, and that you got awesome seats! That's a rather strategic location, I must say! lol Your photos are marvelous! The one with you and MiG cracks me up. It's really a cute picture. You and Heidi look lovely, and the photo of you two with MiG is one of my faves. Nice stage photos too, Wanda!

I was a little worried about Heidi seeing the show because it can be a little, shall I say, suggestive in places. She didn't want to know anything about the show or hear any of the music beforehand. During the matinee when you see Stacee the first time on the video screen in his Underoos she leaned over to me and said, "You expect me to hug that man?" I told her "Yes, because MiG isn't Stacee." When we were at the stage door and MiG came out I got my hug and introduced him to Heidi. He held out his hand to shake hers and she just grabbed him in a hug. He grinned a huge grin and said, "I was gonna shake your hand but I like this hug better." We met a couple of Con fans that sat a couple seats from us at the evening show. MB, you'll get the coincidence of this, one was from Portsmouth and the other from Steubenville both Con fans that have come to love MiG too. They find him to be one of the warmest members of the cast. One of them was even in Columbus on Saturday. She had her picture taken with MiG and Arsenal too! We hung out with them until 3 a.m. and I made sure I filled them full of MiG goodness that I have in my computer. I promised to send them links to MiG vids cos they know nothing of MiG except that he's married and his stuff with ROA.
I'll give you my comparisn between 12th row and 1st row in a little while.

There is nothing like front row center at Rock of Ages...it's like you are there onstage! It's actually great from any seat, but the front is extra special!
