Hey, how about MiG singing "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John? I can't help but picture Simmy as the "dancer"...such a pretty image!!! We sooooo think alike That would be awesome!! Don't laugh, but I heard Rick Springfield "Don't Talk to Strangers" the other day and thought, he kinda sounds like MiG. ;D I have to agree about Tiny Dancer. AND Rick Springfield, who I've followed since SPEAK TO THE SKY in the 70s. He's got several songs I can hear MiG singing: ALLISON, STAND UP, STATE OF THE HEART, HUMAN TOUCH and one from his first album or maybe it was his second (I don't remember) called INSIDE SYLVIA...a really HOT song (especially when we found out years later it was written for his wife, Barbara) and there's also Andy Gibb's WARM RIDE from his last album. I think I'd need a cold shower if he did either of the last two. I guess I just have a thing for Aussies since I also think Toby Rand is FINE. Then there's Mel Gibson, the American/Aussie/American who can sing like nobody's business. Just check out the Pocahontas soundtrack. Sorry to have rambled.

Don't worry, you're not rambling. You haven't heard "rambling" until you hear some of us here let go a full blown post. ;D
I'm itching for the boy to do a cover / remix of Kinks' "Lola" and Aerosomebody's "Pink", maybe even change the lyrics a little to sound like "Lola with her pink feather boa".

Cat Cat, thanks for telling me I didn't ramble. I had a few more ideas of songs, although I like your idea as well. I was trying to think of some FUNNY songs and came up with Aerosmith's DUDE LOOKS LIKE A LADY (which fits right in with LOLA... he could do a medley of crossdressing songs) LOL. I also thought I'd like to hear him do Def Leppard's WOMEN and definately could hear him doing Def Leppard's SLANG then a friend of mine suggested ROCK ON (the old David Essex song that Def Leppard just released from THEIR covers album, YEAH!) Hi chicagomary! Welcome to #teammig# I would like to hear MiG sing Bon Jovi's Have a Nice Day. Jane I would have to agree with that one. He would certainly do a rockin job on it. I also can hear him doing Bon Jovi's BED OF ROSES. I love to hear him sing ballads almost as much as when he really rocks out. Welcome to the club!!! ... so many of us want to hear MiG sing that... I'm going to have to tell him that someday somehow!! (Bed of Roses) I mean... it's my favorite Bon Jovi song - and I think the lyrics and well - everything about that song would be SMOLDERING if MiG sang it! Ames

I really think he would sound great singing any of Sting's songs - they're mostly ballads with a rock touch to them.! #rock_band#

Tigerlily - impressive music knowledge!! Thanks for the compliment. My first memory of Rock and Roll music was of the Beatles on Ed Sullivan when I was 7 or 8 and I've been hooked ever since. I also think MiG would do well on Buddy Holly's TRUE LOVE WEIGHS (at least I think that's the title. I know it's part of the lyrics). (and I'm sure he knows the song since he was in the BUDDY HOLLY STORY in Oz). I just love to hear MiG sing ballads. His voice is so perfectly fitted for them.

I'm speaking of Rick Sprinfield btw, who STILL looks #hot_007# What is with Aussies? Is it in the water?

I would love to see Rick again. The last time I saw him in concert was on the Tao tour. I've got pictures from the third row from my first Rick Springfield concert on the Working Class Dog tour that a friend of mine took with her 35mm Nikon camera and telephoto lense that she sneaked in to the venue in her jacket. They're so close you can see the sweat beads on his face. I guess I should scan them and put them on a screen saver so I can look at him again. I've already got Michael Hutchence and MiG in my screen saver so I guess I could add Rick Springfield which would bring to over 500 the sexy Aussies' pictures in my screen saver. Thanks for the idea. Too bad you didn't see the info in time. I have to agree, he's still a HOT looking man. Definately doesn't show his age.

Will do, Jane, but it probably won't be until Monday when I get back from Boston. And what is it about these Aussie men and their dimples? Rick has 'em, Toby has 'em and MiG has 'em.
