YES!!! You are correct!!! Actually, Kenny Loggins has a wonderful live album from the 80s. It's either called Live or Alive. He does some covers and nearly all of his original hits. Gotta love the dancin gopher!!! ;D I just saw Kenny Loggins in concert at Picnic wiht the Pops. I was thinking that would also be a great venue for MiG to play sometime. Kenny was great. I especially liked it when he and Messina were together. Messina wasn't along the other night. Kenny sang a song off of his newest album and it sounded like there had been a big sorrow in his life. Were he and his son separated by divorce or anything? Anyway, his concert was so good. He doesn't quite get the high notes like he did in the 70's but his voice still sounds very good. I may not be too objective because i have always been a big fan! Yes, I believe that may be true about a great sorrow. I don't know the details, but there was a divorce. I used to see Kenny in the children's store buying things for his child, educational toys and so on. It was in Santa Barbara next to where I worked for the City. Also met Jimmy Messina backstage at the Lobero Theatre after a Les McCann concert. This county has dozens of music venues. And home grown musicians like Jackson Browne and David Crosby. I am not going to get into my likes and dislikes here. So now we have Crosby Loggins and the Leadbirds. He is Kenny Loggins' son and is trying to get a CD album recorded. They are all on MySpace, but I can't hear the music, so don't know where Crosby Loggins fits in musically. David Crosby is still rocking just like he was in his previous incarnations. <smile> I'd like to add "Light My Fire" by the Doors. I like a lot of the Doors music and Aerosmith as well.

ok...got some more. Since I can't work on Myspace...i had some time on my hands to contemplate my navel and dig back into the memory cells....the ones that Work, anyway... Not in any particular order and some just for 'fun'... Purple Haze- Hendrix Here I Go Again- Whitesnake Bob Marley- Stir it Up Get Up, Stand Up Joe Cocker- (NEVER thought I'd utter THESE words) Feelin All Right With a Little Help From My Friends Cowboy- Kid Rock (can see MiG in his Aussie cowboy hat) Eagles Fly- Van Halen and Hagar's version I think it would be fun to see our MiG-ster doin a little Reggae/Rasta!!! Could be fun I don't think he'd need to change the hair, though..((Right)) LOL Layla- Clapton Wonderful Tonight- Clapton Who did Purple Haze??? and...he probably wouldn't do it, but...I've always Loved "Cocaine"....HATE the words, Love the rhythm...and Bass...:/ I wonder if he could remix "Bobby McGee" ? In my opinion....such as it is...I wish that Darryl and NATE could travel with him...heck, Darryl and the HOUSE BAND!! They were Awesome together! Ok...you can tell I've had wayyyyyyyyy too much time on my hands tonight...hahaa....think i'll just boogey my way to bed-nites.... #partysmiley# Swwwwwwweeeeeeeetttt Emmmoooooooooooooootion!!!!!!!!!!!! #thblissysmile# I'm with you Laura...Helter Skelter sounds good to me!! Haha...not much of a jazzy person myself but it sure looks like MiG knows how to play for each occasion and is able to read the crowd and sing/play just about anything for any given venue. I don't know about all this Kenny Loggins talk...I was thinking more in the lines of Audioslave, Lenny Kravitz, Aerosmith, Stones and Beattles...some of MiG's musical influences. #offtobed#

After hearing MiG perform Lately and Ribbon in the Sky by Stevie Wonder...and having heard With Every Beat of My Heart from MC's downloads...he's left me wanting to hear him cover more Stevie Wonder!!! #pianist# I love Stevie Wonder too. Whcih song did MiG sing at Howl at the Moon? I thought his billy Joel-Piano Man was very good. I hope we hear more MiG originals than covers but if not some Billy Joel thrown in would be great with me. If he ever does some more pure romance like BILYW I would want to add Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce, Beautiful by Gordon Lightfoot, 12th of never by Johnny Mathis and Annie's song by John Denver. wouldn't an all romance CD be cool? I wouldn't mind some Elton John covers if he wants to rock it up

With a multifaceted diamond like MiG might as well add "I Can See Clearly Now", Johnny Nash reggae. And yes, Stevie Wonder is one of MiG's influences he said.
