I was born in Amherst, Ohio, lived in Amherst, Lorain, Elyria, Vermillion and Bradrick, Ohio, before moving to Huntington, WV at age 12. Been here 30+ years and love it to death. I guess I couldn't miss since my mother was born and raised here so I come by my love of WV naturally. And may I say, welcome back to the lower 48, Ames. Do you know where you're going to be? My brother was in the Air Force and was stationed in Newport News, VA before being sent to OK as his last posting before he retired.

Wanda,
THANK YOU I couldn't be more excited to come back to the 48!!! Like I said, I'll miss the absolute BEAUTY of Alaska... it's really unparalleled... but there a few things I won't miss .... like DARK GRAY WINTERS where there's NO sun for 3 months practically grrrr And, there really is a feeling of isolation living here. It's not easy to go ANYWHERE LOL not even around in the state. It's so expensive to fly to the lower 48 that it hasn't really been an option for us... I've only been back once and my parents bought us tickets!
I love love cool/cold weather... and I love snow... but enough is a enough! LOL... I didn't think I would miss the warmer weather and sunshine but I sure do. I'm not really looking forward to the humidity tho! I told Jon... my hair won't fix anymore!! AAAH I remember how excited I was when I got here... It's so dry here that my hair never falls flat when I fix it... oh well... you gain some you lose some!
I don't know where we will be going yet... I won't have ANY idea until April which bases are open. Then, we send a list to them of ones we would like to go to.... THEN we have to wait until the military has a whim to tell us which one they've CHOSEN FOR us LOL
We found out almost a YEAR in advance coming to Alaska which was GREAT ... but they say on the outbound orders.. .sometimes they only give you anywhere from 2-6 weeks!
I have ALREADY made my Ferry and hotel reservations for our trip back tho!! That's how excited I am!!
Ames
P.S. Oklahoma is a lovely state!! Jon actually wants to go back there... me, I'd perfer to leave the SPIDERS there... hahah man the spiders in Oklahoma are ATROCIOUS!!! eeeeek I hated that part...

I was born in Tampa, Florida, then moved to Sarasota, FL; Orlando, FL; Raleigh, North Carolina; North Canton, Ohio; and then finally back to Sarasota, FL to finish out middle and high school.
Spent first two years of college at a small school in Brevard, NC, and then graduated from Florida State University (go Noles) , in Tallahassee, FL.
Got a job in Detroit, Michigan (brr...). After 4 years, I was transferred to Dallas, Texas and stayed for 8 years. Then, I transferred to Orlando, FL. Lived there until this past July, when my family and I moved to Charlotte, NC.
I got married and had kids while living in Dallas, Texas.
Whew!

You've all had such interesting lives. Me - not so much! I was born and raised in a small Wisconsin town and moved a few times to other WI cities with my job. About 15 years ago I moved to the Chicago suburbs and I met my now husband at work. I really like it here-we're close enough to the city, and Michigan/Lake Michigan where we enjoy boating. We live in a neighborhood with lots of kids for mine to play with and we have great neighbors who've become great friends.

Oh Sandy, don't feel bad, my life is the absolute dullest!! I was born in Jackson, MS - raised in Jackson, MS - will probably die in Jackson, MS. Went to school, got a job, had a child, hate job, want to retire. That's me in a nutshell!

Hi Lil!! Welcome to Team MiG!!! If you want to view the entire article from OK Magazine, Australia(including pics), it's posted on MiG-music.com: www.mig-music.com/forum.aspx?cid=14&tid=100And MiG was is People Magazine when he was in Rockstar INXS. I think the final 5 were featured. That would have been sometime in September of 2005. Here is a link to the bit about MiG in the article from our Gallery: www.teammigayesa.com/images/gallery/album/MiG_misc/slides/InTouch2.htmlAnd there was an announcement in People Mag Online about a year later that MiG had signed a recording contract with UMG. It was a little late...but better late than never!!! Please let us know if we can help you with anything else!! We're so happy you're here!!!

So, how about telling us a little bit about yourself. Like where/when you first were aware of MiG, how you found the site, have you seen MiG perform live, met him? All that stuff, lol.
