Are they keeping Paul Rogers or have they been searching for a new lead singer? Neither, lol. I read from AQ that Paul Rodgers is "retiring" from Queen, and there has been no word about them wanting a frontman. And I wonder if they are as impressed with Adam as we are...don't forget, they have worked with quite a few Galileo's (including the talented Mr. Ayesa) who can sing Queen with excellence...so it's not like they would be so surprised. However, if the shoe fit, I would think they would put it on...unless they want to cut back. They have toured quite a bit with the Queen+PR tour, plus cut a new album...it will be interesting to see if anything comes of this. Riza...you left out one important ingredient...music. Not voice, but Freddie was a huge creative force in Queen. That part of Adam's abilities is still a mystery. If he would be able to mesh with Brian and Rodger in music creating, then he would make a great addition to their band. The rest of the stuff, you can find that anywhere in the Hollywood club scene, lol.

Toni, the voice was a given, but you hit something there, will Adam's creativity be in synch with the band. Adam also is a very confident man, but I see him as a person who knows how to show respect to legends.

Personally, I would love to see Adam sing with Queen in a concert!

Such karma...when my tv came on, it was exactly at the beginning and of course, I'm like omg, a Queen song...kewl. Then I'm just standing there with my work stuff, immobile, as I see the band materialize and I'm like wtf- can it be-omg-yeeeeesssssssssss!!!! OK, at that moment, I want Adam to win because I am thinking he seems to have a richer, more powerful voice, maybe even more tuneful. But then, when you just listen to it, no visual, I find it very difficult to tell them apart until you listen really carefully or already know which part is sung by who...Both have great voices. But I give Adam the edge for the vibrato and the 'warbles', and the hairdo, guyliner, nail varnish, and costumes. But then, the voters have spoken.

Too many little girls voting for baby faced Kris plus all the Gohkey fans that thought their guy was robbed. I was screaming my head off when I saw Brian's curly do appear at the back of the stage. Definately a MUCH BETTER job than JD did on RS. I'm listening to the vid now and I can tell which is which because Adam has a much more powerful voice than Kris. I'm afraid Kris is going to go the way of some of the other Idols. He's doesn't hold my interest in the least. He's just a kid and has time to grow as a musician but let's see if he survives Idol for the next year.
As for your question of whether he could write with Brian May. You know me, I'm a digger and I'll go on google and check out every link on someone I'm interested in. Adam was no different and I've come across 12 original songs, most of then were written by Adam and his songwriting parther, Monty Pittman, who used to be Madonna's tour guitarist before settling in LA and forming a band with Adam called The Citizen Vein. Wanna hear HARD rock music, TCV is just your ticket. He also had an original in the Zodiac Show at the request of the producers called Crawl Thru Fire that is very hard edged. I found an interview where Carmit Barker (Baker) former PCDoll and producer, said that Adam wanted to perform the song in a flaming headdress and they talked him out of it. Instead they let him have a flaming trident, safer that way, LOL.
I had an epiphany when Adam leaned over and was conversing with Briain at the end of the song. I think they've found their Galileo if they want to make a movie of WWRY (MiG has already said he thinks he's too old to play the part on film). I'd be torn if Dr. May brought the show to Broadway cos I'd want MiG up there as Galileo. And, since Paul Rodgers is no longer with Queen, I think they may have found someone who could sing with them if they want to tour. He certainly wouldn't have any trouble hitting Freddie's high notes.
e2a* As much as the Queen duet had me yelling like crazy I litterally SCREAMED when this due occurred. You can ask Christina cos I was talking to her at the time:

I've got one thing to say....HIRE ADAM!!
I don't care if it's for touring as a frontman or as the new 'G' in WWRY...just HIRE ADAM!!!

I'm with you on that score Nancy. If you watch the end of the song closely, Brian puts his arm around Adam and leans in to speak in his ear. Maybe Brian had the same epiphany I had. I know that a post show interview with KISS had Paul and Gene saying nothing but nice things about Kris but praised Adam like nobody's business. High praise for such a young man. And the fact that he went out there and held his own with people like KISS and Queen shows his confidence. I so wanted to see the Idol show somewhere but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. And I think that Allison has a HUGE crush on Adam. I noticed that she stuck to him like glue whenever there was a group thing.
Oh, and here's a funny, when I came out of my apartment to go to work this morning there was a car with Arkansas plates parked right across the driveway from me.
I would find a way to get to NYC if Adam was performing on Broadway. I don't know how I'd do it but I'd want to be there opening night (muy expensive, I'm sure). Maybe they'll think of Adam when Constantine's contract with Rock of Ages is over, unless, of course, Con wins the Tony he's nominated for.

First off...just how fricken' tall would Adam be in those boots! He is already as tall as Brian in regular shoes! Second...I think if the voting came after last night, Adam would have won even with Kris getting the Danny vote. He is very accomplished showman, besides having a very powerful voice. I think his personal musical style is actually closer to Kiss than it is to Queen, but I'm sure he could easily move toward the queen way, he is def glam enough! As for WWRY, I am thinking he wants to go for the rockstar first. Movies can wait a short time. Broadway will always be there, but this is his big window of opportunity. I never realized he had a band, but I should have. Anyone who sings seems to have a band, lol. Thirdly...I can't believe those old f@rts can still get into their spandex outfits...and look good! And fourth, omg too funny Wanda, I also thought about JD's horrible We Are the Champions on Rockstar, hahaha.

He's been in musical theater for quite a while...this show is very West Hollywood, lol. Actually, I grew up in West Hollywood, well a couple blocks away. If only I had know it was a famous place, but nooooo, I didn't know until I left, lol.

Toni, he's 6'1" and about 170 pounds. Nancy, this one will affect your eyes too but it's one of my fave vids of Adam on You Tube. By the way, the song is one of his originals, Kiss & Tell. The performance is of the song but the sound was so bad the author replaced it with a recorded version of the song. And watch those dance moves. Hot Hot Hot. I love the guy too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QC9W54U-_WE
