Simon will always be Mr. Sassy Pants now, and forever, hahaha. I think the 16 yr. old girl is actually the best singer on the show. Adam Lambert is my favorite male singer right now.

Megan reminded me of Jason. Very unique and interesting. I'd like to see more of her. Allison was really good and will probably make it through. Adam is the American made version of MiG. Just a bit more glam. ;D For all the Normund Gentle fans out there...this site is brilliant and hysterical!! www.normundy.com/

Bwaaah, gold, pure gold! I hope they keep him around until the end, he is just the most entertaining person evah! We need more happy and gentle people in the world, lol. I agree with your assessments, Nancy. Megan is one of the updated folk singers, quite adorable, Allison is an amazing singer, and Adam does remind me of MiG, great performance chops with a moddish, emo-ish look, and a great voice. But there is NO ONE like Norman Gentle, hahaha.

I'm all for Norman going through. IMO the show is a joke this year anyway, why not? I really really really dislike it this year. But here I am still watching.

There are already several websites/fansites for Nick/Norman, lol. People love it, because he dares to act that way AND he can sing quite well.

I didn't care for Brook's orignal song but I do like the duet she and Michael John's have out on Itunes together. I loved Michael and Carly in their duet but think they should have let them sing something different than last season's song.
so far there are no artists this season who I have felt an instant connection with like Michael Carly and David Cook from last season. That may change so I will keep watching. I could totally see that Adam as a new Galileo when the others are through reprising that role

Good stuff for Jason. He should do well. I agree that Adam would be great as a Galileo. And I'm also still hoping for a sequel starring MiG as the older Gazza.

Adam is the American made version of MiG. Just a bit more glam. ;D You were reading my mind!!! I just watched some videos on youtube and saw one that was nearly exactly like watching MiG during his "beef" gig.

I feel bad for Anoop. He obviously chose the wrong song

I was a bit surprised he wasn't eliminated but I like him so am glad he will be around. I think Adam is my make favorite although I like the dueling piano dude from Michigan and the choir director too. I wonder if the dueling piano dude works for the same firm that played at my daughter's wedding reception. They were tons of fun. As far as the girl. I like te voice of the young one wiht the red hair but want to hear her range and style a bit mroe before I decide how much I like her. I like Lil too.

Weird show this week. I thought Megan should have gone instead of Alexis. I am just not warming up to the contestants this season enough to even vote on any. Hated Adam Lamberts take on the country song but in a way it was hilarious to see Randy Travis and the judge's reaction. Kind of cool that he knws he would never sing country and so he refused to during country week. But many rock songs have country elements in them and he could have sang one of those without such a weird sitar sounding mess-he did hit the notes though. Next week is motown which is music I love but much of it is dated. Why don't they let these kids sing more current stuff

I was strangely, oddly, freakishly, disturbingly entertained by Adam this week. ;D I liked the middle eastern flavah he put on the song. Not a country music fan at all....so maybe that's why. I'm also not a big fan of Adam's so I was surprised that I didn't find it to be a mess like most people did.
I adore Megan. She's got a very strong lower register to her voice and I think her genre is going to be more of the jazzy stuff. She's so unique and interesting.
So that's seven dudes and three girls. Hmmmmm....wonder if the producers loaded it up with dudes on purpose. Makes for more ticket sales for tour, one would think.
