Ohhh, this will be interesting, very interesting. I think this might be a hard genre for Kris, Adam will most likely blow everyone away on this one! Wonder who's hair he's gonna wear for Big Band, lol.

This WILL be interesting, Toni. It will be better than disco week, IMO! You know I have to put in a good word for Danny - he should do really well with this one. He can belt it out, and has a great voice for it. Adam will probably do very well as usual. It will also be interesting to see what Kris does.
Nancy - you're right about Megan having a very "jazz" voice. She would have been a natural for this style.

I know we all are looking at their versatility and Alison has always put a Rocker spin in her songs, but I think her sultry voice with the right song will put a different take on a Big Band Jazz piece. She is actually who I will be watching for next episode. I am still waiting for her to break "the" mold. I want to see her be in the middle of rock and jazz.
As of a favorite to make it as the IDOL, I think Adam is a shoe-in, but...........I may go to another AI tour to see a very talented group of singers this year.

You have a good point - Allison will probably combine rock and jazz for an impressive performance. I really like her. Adam seems like the front-runner to me too for various reasons. He's awesome! My personal favorite though is Danny because of voice, vulnerability and soul.

Kay, I think it is showing through, you like Robert Downey Jr. ;D ;D ;D I like Danny's new look, he looked younger, more innocent and very sweet. To look at him, it is hard to even think the pain he went through. This is a confession, I do like Anoop, maybe I am so affected by Slum Dog ;D. I wanted him to be around longer, but I will just see him on tour. AL is still a favorite, but he is becoming predictable now. He need to stir it up a little, give us a surprise.

LOL Now Johnny Depp....I do like him a lot.... You're so right about Danny's new look. He looks hip and happenin' with his glasses, but I really liked it when he didn't wear them for his Endless Love performance. It seemed like the song had a deep meaning for him, and you could see that in his eyes. You can see a softer and more expressive side when he's not wearing his glasses. One thing that would be cool is a deep song, just him at the mic stand, looking into the camera. That would be pretty powerful and moving, I think. He's definitely got soul.

Whoa, Simon is coming down hard on Kris...Simon, we know all you can see if Adam, but calling Kris's performance 'wet' ? It is sad for the performer when Simon says you can't win so why bother. Sheesh, Simon is trashing Alison now. If he trashes Adam then I'm done, lol, cause I know he will praise Adam up one side and down the other...and he will prolly deserve it. OK, Adam was perfect ... until he ruined it with that Elvis snear/half-wink at the end....arrrggghhh!

I never knew Danny was married. I hope the concert of David A. and David C. doesn't get rained out. It's unusually rainy these days.

Interesting night. Really liked Kris and Adam. Matt and Danny were much better this week. Allison...not far behind...and she's very talented, but she isn't good enough to win. I think either Matt or Allison will be eliminated tomorrow.

I had to laugh when Simon told Adam that maybe he was getting a bit too theatrical...his staging reminded me of Freddie Mercury's set up for part of his cover of Great Pretender, lol.
*bwahahaha, I just ran across a blogger who calls him Glambert! Perfect.

would they really cancel it? Isn't it indoors? It's an outdoor concert. I don't know if they would cancel if it rains. The most they can do is to construct a stage with a roof to protect the equipment.
