listening to the recaps...Anoop really did a good job, Alison was awesome, Kris good, Lil Rounds ...I disagree with Simon, I think she sang beautiful., Adam...sounded good but his performance looked "forced". The others were meh. I still say Adam/Alison final.

Hi Eye, long time no visit I am not trying to offend anyone, but I saw a young and meaty Mig tonight at AI (IMO). #clap#

I thought Lil was so out of tune the entire time...it hurt.
Liked Kris and Adam the best. Odd that Simon mentioned Rocky Horror. I would have preferred Adam doing Time Warp.

It was an interesting show. I liked Danny the best - that was very touching, and I really like his voice and ability. Second fave was Kris. My guess for the last 3 standing is Adam, Danny and Kris, which incidentally are my favorites! LOL Alison is very good too. They're all good - these are just the ones I'm into the most of the group.

hahaha, a few years ago, there was a show called Rockstar, and we all settled on the same favorite. Now, with AI8, we mostly have different favorites....makes you realize how big of an impression MiG made on all of us.

Oops, just watching the "group" thing and I thought I heard Adam starting his part and looked up...it was Anoop, hahaha. Then when Adam came out, he looked for all the world like Elvis trying to impersonate MiG, even had the Elvis sneer with the MiG hair, hahahaha. Anyway, it was interesting to hear them all singing together, they aren't really as different as when they do their own thing...in fact, they all have great voices.

You're right - MiG did make a very good impression on the RockStar audience. There were a lot of people who were inspired to vote that weren't previously into voting for a reality show or joining a Forum. He just needs some more exposure and the opportunity to reach people again.

So they saved Matt, but with next week being a double elimination, it's kind of dumb. I guess it will be Matt and either Anoop or LiL Rounds that will be gone next week. They seem to be consistantly lower in the vote getting.

Hello everyone, Thank you for those two links, I agree that he posses STAR power in this season. What I want to make a comment on is about most of TM seem to be united in their current season's choice to be AI. (Those who disagree can dissent). Is it because we are reminded by someone in AL ? I am not taking the issue of his talent away, just pointing something kind of "cool" Anyway, this post is my official statement that I LOOOOOVVVVEEEEE Adam although I tend to gravitate toward a certain type of performer. What I like about him that contributes to the LOVE is his very calm, focused, non arrogant, competitive personality. He fight using his own talent to showcase, not borrow someone else's or not attempting to overshadow other contestants' efforts. He performs something none o them even thought of to do. IMO <<<not trying to have sparks flying or start a negative discussion. Again, thanks to those links, I generally make it home to the performance show but not every night, I almost never make it home in time for to the result show. I have TIVO, but never bother as I still have no time to watch it. Hi Riza, I loved your post and agree strongly with what you say about Adam. He reminds me a lot of MiG. I especially agree with this statement What I like about him that contributes to the LOVE is his very calm, focused, non arrogant, competitive personality. He fight using his own talent to showcase, not borrow someone else's or not attempting to overshadow other contestants' effortsI didn't like his Born to Be Wild as much as last week but it would be hard to top Mad World. I kind of expect him to top it sometime this season though. He is very innovative! I think the judges dopn't think that Adam or Alison are in trouble and so saved Matt because they seem to think that Lil and Anoop would be the choices for next to leave. I like Adam to win and agree Allison might be runner up-but she did end up once in bottom three so i don't think she is a lock. I like Matt and Danny too. I also think kris is so cute and a real sweetheart but don't think he has the talent for top three. Even though I appreciate the talent this year, I still think that last year's competition was the most enjoyable anfd best overall talent. Love David Cook and Michael John's album is set to drop in the next couple months rockstar standard time. I hope Carly makes it too. There does seem to be more of a consensus on here about Adam than most seasons of AI. I think that on some level he does remind us of MiG.

Lol, I think the simialrity has to do with the combo of the Katrina size blast of talent and the hair, lol! They both are quite awesome!
hahaha, quite a typo! *similarity*!!!

My son looked at Danny last night and said that guy looks just like rOBERT dOWNEY jR. and I agree. have any of the rest of you noticed that? I wished they wouldn't have put Adam in blue light again. seemed like he was trying to recreat Mad World a bit. His If I can't have you was not one of my favorites but I still like him

MB, I thought the same thing. I figured Adam would come out and do something totally original, and when he started I was thinking that this was a replay of two weeks ago! Well, it does work well for him, you can really see how his theater training gives him a big edge in presentation. It is very obvious that the judges think he is the winner, and he most likely will win. I was really sorry to see Alison in the B3 again, I think she is awesome and actually has the most potential. Adam is at the top of his game, he is as good as he is going to get. Alison, on the other hand, is just starting out and will prolly get a lot better! I would think that Simon would want to be able to help her become a top performer under his label, but maybe he just wants to get someone who can jump right out there, make a bundle, and then see what next year brings. I know I'm just free thinking, but I get these ideas from the comments the judges make on the show, like criticising one idol for same thing that another idol gets a free pass on, stuff like that.

Jaunty should go for Danny then since she likes Robert Downey, Jr. a LOT #th74a73472# Want to weigh in on that, Jaunty ;D?!? The last two performances of Adam weren't my favorites either, but he's very talented.

I just read that next week is Big Band Jazz made famous by the Rat Pack week!!
If Adam sings Luck Be a Lady or That Old Black Magic, I'll #faint#
I'm bummed Megan isn't around for this one. She would have knocked any of the songs out of the park. That voice of hers is made for Jazz.
