Hey guys, I don't usually watch this show but my friend told me that the three kids who performed at the end of Tuesday's show, sang at his wedding. They are from Highland, NY, but apparently they are known here in Newburgh because a lot of people, including my supervisor, know the family. The kids sang, "God Bless America". They were awesome! When their mom was ill and in a coma, they went to the hospital and sang to her. She sounds like a lovely lady. My supervisor knows her. I'll be voting - they are moving on to the next round!

I saw them, they were really good!!!! And that was so cool that they wheeled mom out, so proud of her kids. The little girl was just adorable, and what a voice on her! I hope they go far. I haven't seen enough of the other acts to know if they can make it to the finals, but I hope so!

I guess they perform at churchs here in Newburgh so that is how my two coworkers know them. The three kids went to my coworker's house to reherse their songs that they performed at their wedding.
I've heard that their mother is a very sweet woman. They should go far on the show. I guess I'll be watching now:)

Me too! I love watching a show when I have some kind of connection to the contestants. I got into Survivor because I was acquainted (online) with a gal whose step-son was on it...remember Rupert Boneham? That was him.
