In addition to answering audience questions, he will discuss how he obtained a worldwide record deal at Atlantic and a publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group. Castro also will perform — for the first time — a song from his debut CD set for release in October; and will invite various students to perform and jam with him on "Hallelujah" and "Daydream," two songs that he performed on "American Idol." The evening will culminate with performances by campers and instructors will give constructive criticism on their performances and musical skills. Music Journalism track students will interview students about the learning and collaborative processes that took place during the concert.
