One can only imagine the added stress when diagnosed with a fatal disease and the additional costs associated with an illness. Even those with jobs are hard-pressed for the resources for nominal health care or insurance, especially when seeking alternatives to mainstream medical treatments. It is the goal of Sofea’s Hope to provide help for people suffering from cancer who do not have the means or resources to seek alternative treatments for this debilitating disease – through both education and monetary grants.
Sofea Tylor, the inspiration for Sofea’s Hope, was a victim of breast cancer. Like many breast cancer patients, she underwent a mastectomy, radiation, and chemotherapy. She also spent a lot of time, energy and resources pursuing alternative choices of treatment – from supplements, oxygenation therapy and more. She had hoped to bring all her knowledge and the quest for new treatment choices to everyone. Through this charity, her aspirations will become a reality.

It's really sweet of MiG to perform for the fund-raiser. He's always so willing to participate in raising money and awareness for charity and causes. This is a wonderful cause. I hope they make a bunch of money, too, Toni!
