THIS THREAD IS MY FAVOURITE HAHAHA. I love you guys over here! You just made my day, haha. Storm has always been my favourite, ever since she tore it up with Pinball Wizard. I was so intrigued that I went onto her myspace and completely fell in love. One of her fans has authorized bootlegs (Davey - her boyfriend/bassist of The Balls - and Storm both know about them) and so I went onto that website and downloaded anything and everything I could get my hands on. Then came the mass buying of old Storm CDs - Storm and her Dirty Mouth EP and The Calm Years and so on and so forth. Basically, I have all of Storm's music and I love all of it. I've seen her in concert three times, and each time she is incredible. Not only on stage, but in person. She is breathtakingly beautiful - it's actually kind of disgusting HAHA. She's so nice, and she takes the time to sign everything you've brought for her, and she's the one that reaches out for hugs, and clasps your hand, and puts her hand on your head. It's just really nice. Okay that's enough of my "OH MY GOD, I LOVE STORM, SHE IS SO AMAZING" talk. Well, for Storm News, she's currently in Rochester, NY playing Sally Bowles in Cabaret! www.gevatheatre.org/plays/cabaret.phpYou can go there to check it out - I'm going to see it in February, I will tell you how it is! Here are some pictures from the Portland production:

Thanks for the update. That is a great role for her. #thhappy096# She is always so amazingly self confident and self assured. Like MiG, she made it far into the competition without stepping on people to get there. Who says you can't combine theater and be a rocker. There a re now 2 great examples. We'll be anxious to hear your review of the show.

We'll be anxious to hear your review of the show. Exactly! If anything, it makes MiG and Storm more versatile than anyone else. I can never understand it when people say "Oh, she's too theatrical and crazy." What does that even mean? She's passionate, genuine and a helluva performer. When I saw her in concert the first time, my emotions ranged from pure joy, pure adrenaline and sobbing. It's incredible how she can be singing "Missionary Man" and you just stand there with your adrenaline flowing like it's never flown before and the next second she goes into "I Want You" or "Where Is My Mind" and you're weeping because it's so beautifully heartbreaking. Storm has so many different vocal sides, and if you ever get the chance to see her - GO! It's an enlightening and incredible experience. She's such a pleasure to watch and her banter is straight up hilarious. I may be slightly biased LOL.

Aha, found the thread!!! I love Storm as she is absolutely beautiful and has a fantastic voice. I hope she performs near me soon so I can see her live! And I love that she is in the theater. Suzie also was in the theater in 2007. She played OZ in the Toronto production of WWRY for a while. Rock shows are actually theater in a way!

AHH! That's my absolute favourite song of all time! And yes! It is available on iTunes! It's on Ladylike: Side One and Paul's (from the houseband) daughter actually sings at the beginning. It's also on The Calm Years by Storm Inc. Personally, I prefer it live. If you'd like, I could upload my favourite live audio of it for you.

I have seen some of them now and like beautiful and the ladylike what the what and here we are and the answer.
I hope you won't consider this snark but I liked Storm so much on season two but there was sometimes they way they photographed her that she had kind of a very strange look about her eyes while performing. She is an incredibly beautiful woman and the pics you posted Samantha over at RBL were incredible. I was glad that in these vids I didn't see any of the crazed eyes. What a nice selection of vids these are. I wish there hadn't been so much crowd noise in beautiful. but that is a really cool song.

I didn't take offense - everyone has a different opinion! The "crazy-eyes" are just part of Storm's performance.. she gets really intense and she doesn't even realize that she's doing it. I happen to like it, but it's okay that you don't! I guess it's kind of like JD - he gets really intense and has his hand on his crotch when he sings.. in every picture.. and everyone loves it.. except me.. That's an entirely different matter. Anyway, this is Storm in Rochester, NY talking about being in Cabaret: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kq2jN9NUv4oI really liked this video. She has such a lovely laugh. It's actually a "ha, ha ha ha" Here's some reviews of Storm in Cabaret: "Move over Liza. Cabaret has been taken over by a Storm — and she's rocking down the house at Geva Theatre. Storm Large breathes such fire, heart and soul into the legendary Sally Bowles that her performance as the reigning diva of Berlin's famous Kit Kat Club is nothing short of hot, hot, hot.""But it was Large — a Portland rocker who was a finalist in CBS' Rock Star: Supernova — who played her character like an ode to joy. Her body language, her wickedly delicious "cat" hisses, her striking good looks, complemented by a sultry and truly exceptional voice, catapults Geva's Cabaret into an unforgettable musical achievement. Don't miss it." www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2008801140326

*groan* I so agree about the jd crotch stuff. Between that and the mic antics, It is such a maj0or turn off. He just looks grungy and unkempt. Not anything I like at all. I did like the afterglow song and video that they posted though(Mom always taught me to try to say something nice ;D)
Storm is a riot. she does have a great laugh and I don't see that eye thing in the vids you posted or even on another close up clip. It always through me off a little but her personality and voice I thought were still amazing.
