Recap Time!! f.y.e A big thanks to f.y.e.!!! The staff there was awesome and so helpful to us!! They really just sat back and let us do our thing to Street Team and get people in the door. I'd say that this was the smallest of all the turnouts, but by no means a bummer. At any given time there were probably 40 people in the store listening to MiG. He sounded incredible as always. We had some 'rockin' equipment thank's to Jaye's husband. Thanks John!!! You could hear MiG loud and crystal clear upstairs where he was set up, downstairs where the DVDs are and outside thanks to Toni, Melissa and Kianna!! They held the doors open so passers by could hear MiG too!! ;D Jaunty was across the street by Macy's Street Teaming her little heart out. #hugz# We all wore the awesome badges that Cammy and Lily designed!! The store was decked out in MiG posters from the label and those awesome flyers that Kay designed. They sold a bunch of Cds while MiG was performing which was the whole idea!!! There was a brief M&G with new fans when MiG was finished and then we had to scoot out of there like lightening to go set up at 3rd Coast. All in all, another successful appearance!! Thanks again to all who helped put it together!! Vaso and Vicki...that means you guys too!!!

Sending out and extra thanks to FYE! FYE was amazing! The entire staff was extremely nice and so willing to help MiG in any way. After steet teaming during the show that afternoon, Nancy had to force (like that was hard) me back into FYE to catch the last two songs that MiG played. I was determined I had to get more people in FYE, but like Nancy said it was lunch time and not alot of people were biting. I was so proud of my daughter Kianna because she's very shy normally. But for this weekend MiG brought out her fearless street teaming. I couldn't believe my eyes. Who was this girl?and neither could she. lol Good job Kianna! Good job to everyone who was there yelling their hearts out and passing out flyers. MiG sounded sensational as usual. I must of stood there in a daze just admiring the beautiful music being played around me in this beautiful store. My heart must of skipped a few thousand beats in pure admiration. I had a chance to speak with FYE's Asst. Manager Vickie McQuitter for a few moments and let me tell you how sweet and adorable she was. She fell in love with Mig! I fell in love with her. She was so sweet.. I could tell she wanted some pictures of MiG and asked if I could take any for her. She responded excitedly Yes! So I took some snap shots of her & MiG together with her camera and some other shots of MiG & Vickie with my camera and the staff. I asked if it would be ok to put some of my pictures up on MiG-Music.com and she thought that would great. So Vickie just like I promised here are these beautiful photographs. You and your staff were so amazing and we were very lucky to get to know you, thank you and your whole staff at FYE from the bottom of our heart's for helping to support Mig. You all were a very important part of helping to make MiG a success in Chicago. *BiG HuG'S To all of you* :-) Right before I left I asked Vickie if there was anything she wanted to say to MiG when I post this on MiG-Music, heres what she said..... "The show was fabulous and she loves MiG'S singing, please com back to visit" I'm sure he would love that!

I gotta say the funniest thing that happened at F.Y.E. was that I didn't recognize Cammy when she handed me my badge. By now everyone knows that I make MiG jewelry to wear and take to MiG's gigs just to give them away to new fans. Well, Cammy handed me the badge and I asked if she wanted one of the necklace and earring sets I was wearing. She lauged and said, "Wanda, it's me, Cammy!" We had a good laugh and a hug before Donna and I went over to get our places to video MiG's show. As usual, MiG's performance was over the top and out of this world. He sounded great and we had a very enthusiastic crowd, even if it was small. I had noticed a couple small display racks holding MiG's cds on the table at the top of the stairs beside where he was perfomring. Both racks were full when we got there and, by the time we left more than half of them had been sold. I also met a very sweet little girl and her mother who were MC & Lovehammers fans but MiG had won them over as well. I asked the little girl if she would like a necklace and earrings and she nodded her head yes so I let her choose the one she wanted. She put them on and hurried right over to MiG to show him. He was just soooo sweet with her and complimented her on the jewelry... I had a surprise for himj. I had downloaded the London Cast of Rent (MiG as Angel) from a website the MB had sent to me several months before. I burned MiG a copy as well as the downloads I had of the songs he did in Buddy and I had also managed to download the four songs he participated in from Thriller, Live! before the links were removed. I burned Buddy and Thriller, Live! on a disc for him as well. I told him that I was a little worried when I saw that one of the songs from Buddy was Only You with it's high notes...MiG grinned and proceeded to give an impromptu couple of lines that included the high notes, much to the delight of the few people standing near enough to hear it. He then had some pictures taken with the staff at F.Y.E. and it was off to 3rd Coast for his crew and back to the hotel for us to change for the show that night.
