This is kind of a dumb one but I'm going to throw it out there incase it works for someone. I heard about this at a seminar from a woman who had started a small business and was trying to promote it. Anyway, when driving, use the manual lane of the toll booth and tell the toll worker that you're also paying for the car behind you. Include a MiG business card or flyer for the toll worker to give to that car behind you. The woman at the seminar said that she received alot of response from doing this, because the recipient usually went back to the office or where ever and told everyone else about it.
Another idea I had is actually a question for Laura and Nancy. I'm wondering if it would be cost effective to sell those soft flexible car magnets (such as the 'Support our Troops' types) with some type of MiG promo on them, in the boutique here, so we can buy them and display them on our cars.

I think those are great ideas! I don't have any toll booths here... but that's a good idea And I love the car magnet idea!

Great ideas, Sandy!!!! The toll booth idea is brilliant....I mean if someone paid for me to go through the toll and gave me a card i'd be pretty surprised about it and would want to tell everyone (not something that happens everyday after all haha) and you would just be inclined to search the net with the detail on the business card as well wouldn't you....ingenious. The magnet idea is also tres cool...Karma to you dear

I like that toll booth idea. That really would grab someone's attention. That might also work when you were pulling out of a parking garage or feeding a traffic meter or your kids giving away lemonade at a lemonade stand and a card to go with it.

No idea should ever be considered dumb, by my personal standards. Even if an idea is not thought through well enough, at least the individual(s) had the balls to propose it in the first place; helps others to exercise their improvisation skills and improve on the idea further. Don't you think so? Anyway I emailed it to a team mate who has been posted abroad. He gave it a shot and came back with this email. ----------------------------- Cat it works. 1 problem tho. Ain't got no flyer on me and the tollbooth operator figured i was promoting MICKEY Mouse. Had to go back and write the kid's name on a paper.

Hi Sophia, Please accept my apologies as I just now saw this post and your question. I happen to love those soft magnets. We've been waiting for cafe press to offer more merchandise for us to sell, so we'll see if we can ask about this type of thing. It's a great idea!!!

Thanks Sophia. I shouldn't be allowed to answer questions when it's the middle of the night in Chicago and I should be sleeping. And, my apologies to Sandy.

I've been known to call you Laura more than once! and I'm not concerned with receiving credit It's all about MiG, sister!

Excellent Idea Girls!
I'm still holding my breath on the possible radio interview, but things are looking good!
And if I had one of those car magnets! Oh, that would be great!
No toll booths in NM, but I'm in the process of making my TM business cards and with my travel - am planning on leaving them with the tip at restaraunts! And any other place I can think of!
You guys are great thinkers - keep 'em coming!
Kimbo
