no idea should ever be considered dumb, by my personal standards. Even if an idea is not thought through well enough, at least the individual(s) had the balls to propose it in the first place; helps others to exercise their improvisation skills and improve on the idea further. Don't you think so? Anyway I emailed it to a team mate who has been posted abroad. He gave it a shot and came back with this email. ----------------------------- Cat it works. 1 problem tho. Ain't got no flyer on me and the tollbooth operator figured i was promoting MICKEY Mouse. Had to go back and write the kid's name on a paper. Cat that is priceless!! hahah #clap# I can just see that... Yep I agree - the toll booth idea is GREAT ... if only I had a tollbooth. But you are right... any place where you are in line would work.... Ok... I"m adding a new thread for my idea as well.... But what I'm doing is...
MIGGY CHECKS!!!! #jump2#

Hey, I had an idea when I was buying a magazine at a store today-I stuck a flyer in a couple of People magazines on the news stand-but I only had 2 with me. Going back tomorrow with more.

WOW, that is a good idea, but be careful you don't get caught if it's in the store teehee. You could also put them in the magazines in waiting rooms and stuff too. Karma for the good idea ;D

Ok...time to get serious!!! Let's all do some major Street Teaming while MiG is busy recording his CD!!! Sound like a plan? Some of the things we can be doing is using our myspace pages to promote MiG more by requesting friends. To give you some ideas, I'll share what I've been doing. First, I'm going for the entertainment industry. Many actors and actresses have myspace pages or fan-run myspace pages with thousands of friends. Remember, they're in LA and NYC so there is always a chance they'll hear of or meet MiG at some point. I've also been hitting the wild world of sports...well the tennis world. Another idea is to go to the myspace pages of other bands and musicians and find friends that way. The more friends you add, strategically, the more fans we can reach and teach about MiG!!! Let's be careful not to all hit the same bands, entertainers and sports figures. Check out one anothers friend's lists to be sure we're blanketing the market. Another avenue is requesting to be friends with trade magazines, local entertainment publications in your area with myspace pages and local musicians in your area with myspace pages. Radio stations too!!! For example, I've recently added Time Out Chicago which is the weekly entertainment guide for the city for locals and tourists!!! Every major city has one. Then, create bulletins!!! That's the best way to get the word out to the masses. You don't need flyers, so if you have trouble creating them...don't worry. You can use pics from the gallery and just be creative with the text. Please let Laura, myself or any of the mods know if you have any questions or need help with anything. This down time is the best time to be keeping the MiG love alive!!! Thanks everyone!!!

I'm willing to do whatever I can for the street team. I'm going to hopefully see him in Toronto on Sunday. I"m not overly creative but if anyone has any ideas about what to do. I'm open to suggestions. I will start with myspace and trying to get people in Ontario. I know that there are a lot of MiG fans around here. I'm just not sure about what I can or can't do. Is there a scheduled release date for his new CD?

That's great. I will look into it. Now here's a silly question. If there a general bulletin that everyone is using, or do I create it myself?

Hey, for anyone who's able at this time, the American Idol boards are going nuts with the Chris news. I've been mentioning MiG in conversations. Hurrying back now. (one thread was listening to Ryan's radio show and had over a million members online!!!!!!!!!)

Sandy...it's easy...all you have to do is put this: http://www. in front of the addy, so it will look like this: www.americanidol.com/boards. Or you can just copy/paste the addy from your menu bar at the top of your screen. Voila!!! ;D
