featherbeds! You know the feather or down filled toppers you can buy for your mattress? We LOVE it-even my critical husband doesn't want to get out of bed.
Anyway, I thought it might be fun to share products or items that we really like, or maybe things that we've tried and want to let others know 'don't bother'.

A chocolate fountain #drool# My sister gave me one for Christmas and we used it for New Years Eve at a friend's house. It was really lots of fun for adults and kids alike. One of the boys kept looking through the kitchen to find new things to try dipped in chocolate!(and keep those minds out of the gutter, this was a kid!) One word, [glow=red,2,300]excellent[/glow]. You can use nacho cheese for chip dipping or bbq sauce for wing dipping, too. But my favorite is chocolate. It was definately the hit of the party.

I want a chocolate fountain! That makes me think of what I'd like to recommend - The new Hershey kisses filled with peanut butter, so good!

My recommendation isan't as fun but here goes.
I would like to recommend the Venus razors. They are the first razor I ever used where I don't have to walk around with all those nasty knicks and cuts(yes I am a klutz) Any way with the Venus razor, I almost don't mind shaving! I will be out soon looking for one of thos chocolate fountains! Great thread idea, Sandy. You are the winner of this hour's karma point. MB

thanks for the karma MaryBeth! And I think that a razor that doesn't make me bleed all over my towels is a good find!
Carol-doesn't matter, Sam or Sandy
Toni, my friend and I were going to get a chocolate fountain for a party but thought we might not get much use from it. I didn't know you could do cheese, etc. I'm gettin one!
Mmmmmm, peanut butter kisses mmmmmmm...

I second Mary Beth on the Venus razors -- they are great! Mmm....the chocolate fountain sounds yummy, and so do the Hershey's peanut butter kisses -- gotta try those! ;D They came out with Hershey's cherry kisses at Christmas (a "limited edition"). By the time I tried a couple, I wasn't able to find them anywhere. OK, until I can think of something better... I'm recommending Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. Oh, and those new Oreida microwavable french fries that actually get crisp in the microwave!! (They really do!) Joyce

Chocolate fountain....yum I like that....might have to get one! ;D
The one thing I can't live without is Therma Care Heatwraps! Every month I depend on this to ease the pain of cramps. One of the best things they ever came out with. I highly recommend it to anyone who's had to go through it!

Another thing I would recommend to any woman is Paula Begoun's books, especially Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me. She reviews make-up products and she's always right! She even has her own line of make-up on www.cosmeticscop.com. She's a genius and you'll never waste money on make-up you hate again.

Mary Beth I agree. I love the Venus razor as well. I also recommend the Quattro razor. I actually switch off between those two.
Toni, I love the chocolate fountain idea. My daughter was just recently given one as a gift for her engagement, so she won't open it up until she moves in with her fiance. #1381# They better invite me over or I'll just have to get one of my own.
Great recommendations girls #wav#

GREAT thread!!
Well - talk of a feather bed makes me think of my pillow.... I have one of those "memory foam" pillows!! That I abolutely LOVE>... I used to always wake up w/ a headache or crick in my neck... and I HATE flat pillows.... The memory foam ones LOOK strange but they are SOO comfortable... supposedly better for your spine as well.
I can't WAIT to have a tempurpedic mattress - UM... VERY expensive tho... At Costco i found a "memory foam" topper for only $100 tho! I think I'll try that out first

Amy, I would love to know how that works out if you get the foam topper. MB
