Ok, I'm gonna take a real chance here and recommend a CD to you guys. This is just something totally fun to keep you tied over until MiG's new CD is ready!!! I heard about it through some of the music friends I made on myspace and it is so much fun!! It's called Timeless and it's Sergio Mendes doing all the great Brazilian classics with guests like The Black Eyed Peas, India Arie, Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, John Legend... I am not a huge fan of hip hop, but it blends really well with the classic brazilian tracks!!! And it's not all hip hoppy, but most of it is...but with brazilian rhythms!!! I highly recommend it if you like The Black Eyed Peas and you can appreciate the classics of Brazilian Jazz. ;D

I love Cowboy Troy with his blend of country and rap. I don't know if I could take it in large doses, but it is really fun as a break from my regular music menu.

To keep FRESH FLOWERS longer, add a little Clorox, or 2 Bayer aspirin, or just use 7-up instead of water. 42. When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered which is the freshest, so you "squeeze" for freshness or softness? Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has a different color twist tie. They are: Monday = Blue, Tuesday = Green, Thursday = Red, Friday = White and Saturday = Yellow. So if today was Thursday, you would want red twist tie; not white which is Fridays (almost a week old)! The colors go alphabetically by color Blue- Green - Red - White - Yellow, Monday through Saturday. Very easy to remember. I thought this was interesting. I looked in the grocery s tore and the bread wrappers DO have different twist ties, and even the ones with the plastic clips have different colors. You learn something new everyday! Enjoy fresh bread when you buy bread with the right color on the day you are shopping.

I named it Lester (from a character in Almost Famous no doubt) and he makes wonderful espresso. It was about $25 at Wal-Mart.

That's such a neat idea! I wanna get a slinky and put my cd's in it! I just had visions of chasing the cd's down the stairs yelling at the slinky to give me back my MiGtunes. We had the original metal slinkys and they were awesome going down stairs, the new plastic ones are kinda meh imo.

Here's another CD suggestion: Seal, Live in Paris!!! It's a combo CD/DVD in one case!!! There are alot more songs on the DVD than on the CD, but both are fab!!!

LOL, the metal slinky doesn't mess up going down the stairs and it makes the cool "slinky" sound. I loved my slinky!!!! (it sure didn't take much to amuse me!)
