Team MiG has members from all over the world, and we sometimes are treated to photographs they've taken as near as their backyard, or as far as a vacation on the other side of the globe. This thread is for photographs you've taken, or photos you like. Casual shots or high quality photos - both are welcome. Help us see the world through your lens!

Here are a few that I picked from what's already uploaded: My two youngest walking through a corn maze during a visit to PA last year: My daughter's birthday cake (she turned 3 last week): A flower in Thailand: Bwahahaha - these are the potatoes I cooked at Easter this year: My hand after I went to an Indian friend's wedding: One of my all-time favourite foods - Shanghai dumplings, or Xiao Long Bao. I could eat 10 of these at a sitting (and have!). I took this last year when I was in Shanghai on business and got room service. The view from the hotel room. This is on Pudong, the east side of the river that goes through Shanghai. The vast majority of the city is on Puxi, the west side. When I studied in Shanghai in 1987, Pudong was literally a rice paddy. There was nothing there except some places for ships full of coal to dock. Now it's the heart of the city. Time flies and change happens, gotta keep up!

Hmmm, I think I'll go find some old photos already on flickr, photobucket, or webshots. I keep filling up my space and have to start with new sites, lol.
I love the cornfield shot...and those taters look yummy...is that rosemary sprigs?
p.s. found some fun pics to show, but they are full size, and I don't feel like resizing and all that. Lazy me.

Me too. My kids loved the corn mazes here when they were smaller. Here is my favorite place to spend a fall Saturday(this season may be rough though but I love my Buckeyes)\ Here is a picture of me having a little fun in Australia last year(what would Alfred Hitchcock say about all these feathered friends) Here is one of my favorite places in Ohio in the fall Here is one of the prettiest places we saw in australia and I think this beach might actually be paradise-it is whitehaven beach in the Whitsunday Islands of Australia and it was fun sharing it wiht my kids

Jennifer, What is so special about a shanghai dumpling? I don't think I have ever eaten one except for the wontons in wonton soup. Is it kind of like that?

Sunrise taken out the upstairs window, optical telephoto setting. It was the pinkish reflection on the pond that really caught my eye! Sunset...viewed from our front porch. (not photochopped...it actually looked just like this!) ....and the moon! Yes, it was orange!

Kay, this is a great idea for a thread. We've got so many talented team members here...can't wait to see what everyone brings. JVD your pictures are amazing...the ones in Lola's as well as in here. You certainly have a great eye for capturing the right moment. Love the one with your kids in the corn maze. MB that bird was ON your head right? That was funny. Your Ohio picture in the Fall reminds me of NY. And I love the pic with the kids...they all look so cute. Toni those are great sunset and moon pictures. All of you must have great cameras. I'll need some good recommendations for one some time soon. My camera is kinda outdated and doesn't work as well as it once did.

The photos are incredible! The beach, the fall colors, the corn maze, the dove, the sunrise, the food & even the Ohio Red.
Toni, I want your MiG muG
I wish there was an easier way to post photos then having to upload to photo bucket 1st. I have a ton of them taken all over the US I would love to share.

my impish son in law told us it was fun to feed the lorakeets and so you stand with both hands on a pie plate-I had two because my son walked away. Thousdands of birds descend from the sky and sure they eat the food on your plate but they also are up and down both arms and there would be 4-5 at a time on your head and shoulders,. It was fun and funny but I couldn't wait to shower and shampoo. Toni, love your pics I love shooting sunrises and sunsets. Here are two shots of a sunset on new Year's Eve from an ocean side park in Santa Monica and here is sunset in Arilie Beach OZ and then in Byron Bay Australia. The mountains almost look like they are on fire and it is funny to see the sunrise on the Pacific if you are used to US living I loved the Byron Bay lighthouse. it is right above the easternmost point of Australia here are two tiny Darrell and Toni lovebirds and if you look close at this one you can see the joey crawling back in mama's pouch

I'm cleaning up my hard drive - so here are a few more: Hong Kong's skyline, taken from inside a restaurant (this is actually just a photo where the people have been cropped out) My husband holding my daughter's feet shortly after she was born: Aberdeen typhoon shelter - I used to live in one of the tall buildings off to the left (and don't ask my why I made it purple - just playing, probably. I took this about 10 years ago): HK, Victoria Park, around 1996 or so, on Mid Autumn Festival (aka "Lantern Festival") The last day of operation for HK's old airport (around 1997 or 1998) One of my favourites - a flower in Switzerland: Freddie! (Montreux, Switzerland):
