If you want a to see a good movie about what happened to the Aussies and Kiwis in Galipoli just check out Mel Gibson's movie of the same name. It really shows the adversity those soldiers went through on that day, the Aussie/Kiwi Iwo Jima decades before IJ happened, and it's a great honor for MiG to sing both anthems. I truly hope someone goes and can post video of MiG performing. And I know how proud MiG will be to sing the US National Anthem. He told us in Bergenfield that the US National Anthem is one of the most inspiring songs he has ever performed and he LOVES the emotion of the lyrics. He does such a fabulous job on that song. I'm not sure I've ever heard the Australian National Anthem but we've all heard the "UNOFFICIAL" Aussie anthem, Waltzing Matilda, LOL. Good on ya, MiG.

I am with you, Wanda, I would just love to hear MiG sing the Oz anthem. I feel bad that he has to get up so early to do this, but it's a great honor and they couldn't have picked a better person to represent!

At least MiG will have a day to rest up from 8 Mile Creek before he has to sing at sunrise. I want to be there sooooo bad. I know it would be like Jersey City last year when he got rained out but it would still be worth it to see MiG sing The Star Spangled Banner live and in person as well as the Oz National Anthem (Is it God Save the Queen?)

Just ran across some new posts about Anzac Day Celebrations. MiG will not only be performing for the celebration at the crack of dawn, and around 1pm, but also later at the Australian WITH LUKE. I just got the information from a new post on his Blogger site, in between blogs on myspace about his little buddy Shaheen, then found it on MM, too. Sometimes it's hard to keep up! *head spins* but I love it!

Well, it's too late to change the dates for the Australian gig, as it's going on right now!

Well, it's too late to change the dates for the Australian gig, as it's going on right now! This is a moving target! It's nice MiG can spread these events over two days.

Thanks, Toni! MiG looks so handsome in his suit. Those are great pictures. I also really like the photo with the sunbeams shining from behind MiG and Luke!
