Hi Kay! Couldn't agree with you more about MiG's noticeable heart and soul, humor and humility as he performed and bantered with the people on Rockstar:INXS. I picked up his sensitivity right away and I still think his choice of "Home in Me" was right on.
It was quite a life changing event for me actually, as I had been taking care of my mother in Los Angeles after she had broken her hip. So I was there for six months, in triple digit heat and high humidity. I have to say that all of the performers on Rockstar:INXS in 2005 had their work cut out for them in more ways than one.
I never planned to watch the show, yet when I took a break to go home to Solvang and check on my house and mail, etc. at the end of August.... I sat down and that is when I watched MiG!
Although I had already become involved with the entertainment field again, since Jamuary 2001.... now I wanted to do more than book performers and write interviews for the tv and radio programs. I really wanted to promote MiG. I think MiG is just one of the great talents who does not yet receive the attention he deserves.
So I hope and pray that MiG will have someone who is very adept at distributing his music everywhere at the same time, a saturation promotional program, if you will. Last time it was terrible, when even Amazon couldn't get enough copies of the CD when it had been [pre-ordered months in advance.
I truly think that MiG has far greater talent than Miley Cyrus, for example. This music business is ten times worse than it was back in the seventies. Great talent ends up having to go online on MySpace and YouTube to be seen and heard. But if Susan Boyle can do it, then I know that MiG can do it!!!! He is such a fine example of a human being and a great role model for people of all ages! :-) And he has paid his dues and can handle it all.
Hope you are still online, Kay. It still takes me a while to log in here, as it doesn't keep my info.
Loving Blessings,
Dale
