I'm starting this thread in anticipation of a MiGsterpiece 2nd album! It's hard to wait to hear an album of MiG's originals. MiG's first CD was awesome, and now every day we're getting closer to having the first CD with MiG's original music. Be still my beating heart....
Hmmmm - I wonder what songs MiG Teamsters are hoping will be on MiG's 2nd album..... #pianist#

I am wondering what songs are on it that we have heard before, and if there are some new ones we haven't yet heard. Also wonder what this version of Blown Away is going to be like! Can't wait!!!

Blown Away is so special. With MiG singing the song and putting his talent and creativity into it, it's sure to be beautiful. I really like all of the songs MiG has written, and some are extra special.

I hope he has added some of his "older children" to the mix! There are some real gems out there and everyone should have the chance to hear them.

It's hard to know where to draw the line - I'd like a quadruple album! LOL MiG has such a range of great sounds. None of his songs sound really similar - each is unique. There are beauties that go from breathtaking like One Sunset at a Time, to heart-melting like I Need You Here, to Sergeant Pepperesque like I'm On My Way, to rockin' like To Whom it Must Concern.
One song MiG didn't write - but which was given to him and he's made into something very special and irresistible - is I Can Love You.

Am anxiously anticipating MiG's 2nd Album. One of my favorite pieces of music that MiG created is Send Down the Angels. I hope he will include that also. But I love all of MiG's music. I would love to write lyrics for him some time.
I miss MiG, even more after viewing so many of the gatherings all of you have had with him.
Guess it is time I write to him as it has been a year since we communicated. But then we have been so very busy.
I completed one job and have begun another and also have been in Glendale, CA to look after my 96 year old mother. But Friday I was there for a different reason, to visit Forest Lawn and my family's graves and also Michael Jackson's on the anniversary of his passing. I found that Michael is interred in the mausoleum a floor above my father's parents. Security was extremely high, but the reverence shown by his fans was wonderful.
I rarely visit any website anymore due to the enormous amount of time my responsibilities are taking. When I see your photos, both of MiG and with MiG, I become a little melancholy, as there were photos taken of me with MiG four years ago, April 15, 2006, in Glendale, but I've never seen them. They were supposed to be mailed to me, but I guess they were lost in the mail as I was in New York the following weeks, so never received them.
So believe me, I really appreciate seeing all of the wonderful photos and links to MiG and his music here at and from Team MiG.
Let us make sure that when MiG's second CD does arrive that we promote it to the hilt! I will! Hope it is described and offered on MySpace, it is still a good venue for all music. ;-)
Love always,
Dale xxxooo

Dale, nice to see you here! I hope you can take some breathing space now, and spend some time visiting the internet. Maybe whomever took your pictures with MiG will somehow hear of your post and reprint them and resend them. I surely do hope so. I didn't even know that Michael Jackson was in Forest Lawn. My grandparents are there, but I haven't been there in so many years, I can barely remember what it looked like. We are all so anxious for MiG's CD to become available because we know how awesome it will be!

Dale, It's so nice that you stopped by and filled us in on what you're up to! Send Down the Angels is gorgeous and it has a deep meaning. There will be a lot of ecstatic people when MiG puts the finishing touches on his album.
It sounds like you're especially busy these days with your added responsibilities. It does take a lot of time - but you always seem to be focused on doing a thorough and professional job. I hope your mother is doing well. It must mean a lot to her that you help and spend time with her.
We'll keep the photos coming, Dale! I hope there's some way the photos of you with MiG can be sent to you. I know a lot of people are missing him too.
Please stop in again soon! It's always so nice to hear from you! Kay

To you Toni and to you Kay.... I thin of yu both every day, as often as I think of MiG, with happy thoughts of all of you and the rest of the wonderful MiG Group/Team and it is a Team!
What I've been busy doing has been fulltime work for the Dept. of Commerce since early March. Just was laid off from that job and got another one representing a custom made furniture master craftsman. This one is part time. Have to pay the bills. Am still trying to earn my social security. ;-)
Amd of course, I still joyfully write the interviews and provide the research for Msgr. Jim in NY. While I also represent one actor, am always doing what I can to help others. Just completed a 30 second commercial for a friend, writing the voice over and the video action. She happens to be Jennie Garth's sister and of course, her brother-in-law is Peter Facinelli. They all just returned from Hollywood and the special preview of "Eclipse" last Thursday. The commercial shoot is scheduled for this Tuesday
As for Forest Lawn, Michael is interred in the Great Mausoleum, but truth be told, no one can go there unless they are family. It is the same for the rest of us. I had to write out the list of my relatives there, six of them, and then was provided with security to go to each location. Everything is chained off and one has to have the security person lead the way and they wait and escort you out. It is still one of the most beautiful places and I was able to remember where my mother's mother, father and grandmother are interred in a wall.... since I was a very small child in 1939 when I was last there with my mother, after her mother died.
Sorry this is so off topic, but there are many well known people who are laid to rest in Forest Lawn. The beauty of the grounds and the statues and stained glass windows are incredible. There is also a small church there where my parents were married and it is called The Wee Kirk of the Heather.
I can tell that MiG is very sentimental and compassionate by the music he writes, especially with the song "Send Down the Angels" which he wrote after 9/11. It is the first piece of music that I heard of his, on the Internet as it was offered in the original Yahoo Team MiG.
As for the photos, MiG and I were together in the hall leading to backstage when he had someone get the photographer to take the photos of us. One of the several security men took my card with my name and address. This was a private situation, with only one lady and her child allowed back there besides myself. I've asked Laura, because I thought the photographer might have been Al. But I've never heard another thing about the photos.
It may always remain a mystery. ;-)
My mother is doing fairly well, still quite sharp, but has to use a wheelchair for now, as she is not able to walk due to a severe knee problem that the doctors won't operate on. Since she likes to move a lot and quickly, it is frustrating. I keep praying that we can do something.
By the way, I loved seeing the photos on one of the links of MiG with his mother and also with his aunt and uncle. Hopefully I will be able to stop by once in a while and catch up on what I've been missing. Is MiG in Bournemouth now for Queen or is that coming up soon?
Loving hugs,
Dale xxxooo

Dale, do you think that the photographer could have been Lily's brother? He is a professional photographer and the mother and child might have been her with one of her kids??? I think she had a press pass from her brother at the Leyte concert, but not sure about that. If so, maybe you can track down the photo!

We were in a very close space leading to backstage. No one was being allowed in, because there were thirteen well known Filipino performers there and they requested this.
The lady with the child was not Lily. She was a person from Long Beach I believe she said and the child was a performer. The mother had brought something she had written for MiG. They went in at the same time I did after we gave the guard our cards.
While MiG was embracing me, he was trying to answer her questions as she was standing with her small daughter to MiG's right in front of him.
Lily and I have never met, even though she was at the Leyte benefit and while they were rehearsing said she took hundreds of photos. While she told me who took them, she did not say it was her brother or Al. Lily did express surprise that we did not meet at that time, as she was there with her husband and all of her children. They were sitting in the front row to the right and I was sitting in the middle of the audience to the left side. I later met nearly all of MiG's fans, except Lily and her family.
I did inform MiG later that I hadn't received the photos, but maybe they didn't come out. MiG had turned me around and was holding me in front of him when the photographer came in the door. He looked about fifty and was heavyset with a wonderful smile. That is all I can remember, other than it was the security guard who had my card and verified that he had the correct address to send the pictures to me. I don't know if the guard was there for MiG or the whole concert or perhaps the Glendale Civic Auditiorium.
I've tried to track it all down, to no avail. But that is ok. The memories are very good! ;-) MiG is one of the sweetest most caring people I've ever met.
Thanks for caring also, Toni.
Love,
Dale xxoo

That was interesting to read all about your little backstage exploits, lol. You are a very engaging writer, Dale. I guess I could write better if I could remember all the details, but I seem to get sort of distracted and don't notice enough to make a decent tale to tell, lol. Probably I am just in shock and awe when in the presence of greatness, :-)

It was a very special time for me .... meeting MIG .... Toni. I've never been a fan type of person, so for me to drive several hours to Glendale to hear and see MiG was unusual. We didn't leave the auditorium until midnight. I had gotten there at 5 pm.
I had no idea if I would meet MiG at all. But I did pray about it and asked if I was meant to meet him - fine, and if not, ok. What I would like to say is that MiG is very very special, in a spiritual way like Michael Jackson was in so many ways. I sensed this about MiG the first time I saw him on Rockstar:INXS. And that wasn't until the end of August 2005.
Being in MiG's presence is different than with anyone I've ever experienced, including Elvis Presley. I truly felt MiG was surrounded by angels. He should be a much more visible talent and I hope that will happen for him if it is meant to be.
Thank you for the compliments on my writing Toni. I began my career as a professional writer and bylined newspaper columnist at age 15. I love to write.
I think that nearly everyone who is following MiG is very adept at writing and expressing their feelings and so is the man himself. When MiG writes you truly experience what he is experiencing. I miss the blogs MiG used to write on MySpace, but I imagine he is just too busy performing and traveling.
Best wishes to you and Kay and everyone else who cares about MiG. Does anyone know when his second CD will come out?
Love and hugs,
Dale xxoo

The CD should be ready to be released...whenever...you know MiG will not put it out until he feels it's perfect. That could take a while I guess. And we all know about "rockstar" time (see above "whenever"), lol. Both in NYC and in Toronto, he did mention that he was busy working on it, so I am waiting with impatience and anticipation, lol. I am so anxious to see (and hear) what tracks are on it...well, we do know Blown Away will be on it. Can't wait to get my hands on it. ;D

Dale, thanks for your kind words. As Toni said, you are certainly a wonderful writer. Your talent comes through loud and clear! As you know, I'm really glad you got to meet MiG and that it all worked out so well - with the exception of the photo. You never know - maybe somehow you'll get the photo, or you'll get another chance to talk with MiG face-to-face and have another picture taken with him.
MiG is indeed a special person. I believe in angels, and have been fascinated with the topic for as long as I can remember, so your comment about angels is meaningful. Like you, I took notice of MiG on Rockstar: INXS because of his talent and the fact that he was very cute : ) - but the aspect of MiG that impressed me the most was his heart. The way he treated others, his sensitivity, humility and sense of humor made him #1. It didn't matter where he finished in Rockstar: INXS, because he had already won. He stayed true to the person he was, and touched so many people. He has by far the most ability to make a difference when he reaches out to others.
The person MiG is leaves no doubt in my mind that an album of his own music will be phenomenal. It will definitely be worth the wait.
