Read this terrific review of the We Will Rock You World Arena tour from the Nottingham Post.... Review: We Will Rock You: The Musical at the Capital FM Arena By Andy Smart This is Nottingham - From the Nottingham Post March 28, 2013 "WE knew he was there before the first spotlight caught a glint from those flowing silvery locks.
Just one throbbing, unmistakable chord announced the appearance of a true rock legend.
As Brian May emerged the audience erupted. It was a remarkable piece of theatre, a real goose bump moment.
He was there to give a special send-off to the opening night of the tenth anniversary world arena tour of We Will Rock You, writer Ben Elton’s homage to the music of Queen.
It certainly worked, but to be honest this fantastic show doesn’t need such treats, it is that good.
Still, no one was complaining as May lit up the closing anthem Bohemian Rhapsody and then thanked the crowd for being ‘a bloody marvellous audience’.
The packed arena enjoyed every minute of a spectacular production featuring colourful video projections, high octane dancing, a stunningly good band and loud, loud music.
Elton has created a nightmarish vision of the future in which live music is banned, all instruments have been destroyed and the entire population lobotomised by the Globalsoft Corporation, capable of living on the iPlanet only through the internet.
Inevitably, a few rebels have escaped, calling themselves the Bohemians, searching for the rhapsody of rock and roll ... and someone to lead them.
He just happens to be a guy called Galileo Figaro, along with his potty-mouthed girlfriend Scaramouche.
OK, you can see where this is going now.
Elton uses every trick in the writer’s book to contrive a link to a Queen classic.
Some are so obvious you can see them coming with headlights on, but that is all part of the fun.
The script is witty and inventive but to make it work one other element is needed – a cast capable of handling the power of Queen’s music.
No worries there. Mig Ayesa (Galileo) and Lauren Samuels (Scaramouche) take centre stage with some big vocals, West End diva Brenda Edwards gives a sumptuous performance as the Killer Queen, Lucie Jones, as rebel babe Meat, reprises her headline-grabbing London triumph, and Sean Kingsley as Khashoggi, boss of the thought police, even slips in a few trademark Freddie mannerisms in his thunderous Seven Seas of Rye.
And there is a brilliant cameo by Kevin Kennedy as ageing hippy Pop.
If his rumoured return to the role of Curly Watts in Coronation Street is true, he is going to find Emily and Rita tame company after this kind of magic."

Of course the moment wouldn't be complete without some video action! Our handsome MiG is front and center, right where he belongs! and a sideways video LOL that gives you more of a taste of our leading man in the encore, and Brian on guitar

Woo, I was able to see this tour twice, and I must say, it was awesome! I hope anyone who has even the slightest chance to see this, will definitely make the effort. MiG is just totally amazing in this role, and I can't believe how he can project such a big presence and fill an arena with it. All of the cast are soooo good, and the band is spot on, you would swear that they used recorded Queen tracks for the show but it's all played live!
