Little things... the smile of a child-- the laugh of a friend-- the touch of a mother.
Little things... a rose in the rain-- a star in the night-- a poem in the attic.
Little things... coffee with a neighbor-- chocolate with a partner-- wine with a lover.
Little things... make life complete. I thought that it would be cool to see what really makes us all happy. We know the obvious... I will start... "Seeing my kids laugh"List as many as you want or just something that happened today or yesterday. ANYTHING that makes you happy! It is the little things that truly make life wonderful!

Misunderstandings. you say! OK, explanation follows. As ya'll know, as you age, your hearing starts to go. So, life in our house is a bunch of What? Anyway, tonight dh asked me what was in this little blue plastic box and I said - slides. He said what? WHAT? He thought I said flies, and couldn't imagine why I would have a box of flies. We laughed about that for a long time! Laughter, one of the greatest "little things".

Toni htat is the cutest story! when Tom and I got engaged we wanted to tell my parents in another town and my very hard of hearing Grandpa answered the phone. Excitedly we burst out, Grandpa guess what, we are getting married! He responded, yeah it is supposed to be cold down here tonight too. We said No, we are going to get married and he answered, they say it might even snow. We said talk to you later Grandpa! He was so thrilled when he found out the rela conversation later. We still laugh about it today and really mioss the old guy.
