No and yes. You do enclose the url as such, but you have to nest the code for the site with the code for the pic. [*url=][*img] [*/img][*/url] Be sure they are in this order. Look at the code for Jaunty's banner to see what I mean. Will do. Thanks again so much! #hugz# Oh duh, you DID have it right, lol. I didn't notice at the bottom of your post. So it's yes!

Question for Jaunty!!!!!!!! I love the way the photo is done in the Think Big Think MiG skin. So my question is...is that picture in the gallery and what photo effects were used to make it look the way it does. I want to learn how to do a similar effect.

Whoa, that's hard to say. It all depends on what programs come with your computer. You can make a simple banner using paint, but I am cr@p with Paint, I can't use it. You can make a banner using Microsoft PictureIt!...in that program, you just go to the projects and pick the flyer. Then new flyer...a blank one...and then you have to play around with it to put in a line of pictures. (There are tools to add pictures and to add text). You can use the resize tool to resize them so they are all in a perfect line across the top of the page. Then just use the crop tool to cut around the part you want as your banner, and the rest of the flyer disappears...voila, you are done! Save as JPG, it's easier for uploading to photobucket. Actually, photobucket now has editing tools, but I've never used anything but resize. anyway, that's how you can make a siggy banner. It's pretty much the same for a regular square/rectangle banner. Just use the full page for an advertising banner, and put pics and text anyway you want. There are tools to make all sorts of changes...but you will hav to play around with them to learn how to use them.

Macs have a built in photo editor. The process is the same, they just might use different titles/names for their tools and projects.

Cool, I am planning on making a web page of my family so I am trying to make it pretty. I probably will do better building a house with my bare hands than building a web page with nice cool graphics and banners.
I am open to learning, although learning and doing is another matter.
Wish me Luck.

Riza, I betcha there are free web page builders on the net. Also, there are places that give you free webspace and they usually also supply you with a simplified page-builder. Hunt around a bit, you might find something perfect for your use.

Riza, I'm sure Apple gives you free space, and you know how easy everything with a mac is! I sure wish I did, a mac is still on my wish list, lol.

After dealing with Vista and accidentally erasing everything I have in it, I went to a Mac and back to my old PC.

Hey Toni, your new siggy is so cool. I like that. Why don't you make more and give it to us? Your banners are very nice, too. I wanna get a PC with TV! Not the internet TV, but real time one. Mines is pretty old lady. She doesn't listen to me as I say! ;D
