The TRIBE has spoken, time to push our sleeves up and be part of this rebuilding. We do not need to point fingers of blame, we need to raise our hands to help our country. Our presdident elect is not black or white, he is sort of in the middle. Maybe we all need to not be red or blue, but PINK. Congratulations to all of us for a milestone in history. #smiley2#

Nicely put, Riza. I guess we always have to adjust every time the elections change the party in power! No different this time. It is interesting how the rest of the world seems to be happy that Obama won! Also, that they keep saying "only in America"...but a mixed person isn't any more ground breaking than, say, a woman PM in the UK (Thatcher), IMHO.

Very nice sentiment Riza(actually in the middle would be purple if my crayon mixing colors taught me anything ) I actually think history will be kinder to George Bush than current sentiment. I appreciate the fact that he risked his own safety to return to Washington back on 9-11 and made some unpopular decisions over the years to keep us safe. Obama will no doubt have to make some decisions that may negatively affect his popularity ratings too. It's a tough job and for our sake I hope he does it well.

So beautifully put, Riza. Pink or Purple!! ;D Seeing the crowd last night at Grant Park and feeling that electricity in the air was amazing. I've always been proud to be an American, but never so much as last night. The magnitude of what this country did yesterday is spectacular.

Hahahaha, I just got that in an email, it's so funny because I got a vacuum last Christmas. Difference is, I wanted it, lol. After all, DH does the laundry and yard work. He cooks, too. And now that we have the new sink he wanted, he does the dishes and cleans the kitchen!!! Woot! Bring on the vacuum, lol!

Nancy, I saw this on some news show a few days ago, I think it was shortly after the show aired! Susan Boyle is my newest hero!
